[INTRO] Flowers, Flowers Everywhere

WHO: Isabela Madrigal and YOU
WHERE: her labyrinth or the city
WHEN: Feb. 12th
WHAT: Another Labyrinth has spit out another Madrigal. As they do.
WARNINGS: None

[Everything about this labyrinth felt so familiar to Isabela. So well put together, so pretty, so perfect, so-- STIFLING. But in trying to navigate it, she learned that she couldn't change it. The thriving power she'd only just awakened to was gone-- reverted back to the most basic, the most boring version of itself.

A nightmare. This was a nightmare. But she wasn't waking up. So the only thing left to do was to get the heck out of here as quickly as she possibly could.

...right after taking out her frustration on a series of colorful, perfectly arranged arrangements.]

Hrrrrghhh--!

[With an aggravated cry, there are suddenly a lot of pretty flower petals of different colors flying everywhere. It's hard to say how much destruction it will take to make her feel better-- fortunately in this perfect world there are no thorns. Watch out for the occasional flying branch though.]

city

[As soon as she makes it out, Isabella collapses on the nearest bench utterly exhausted, letting her eyes fall shut. That took a lot more out of her than she expected-- and not just physically. She may have broken open the ceiling but there's still a lot of unresolved feelings about it all. It's nice to just rest for a moment a let it all go.]

Finally.

[She's still covered in an explosion of colors; her dress a wild and creative mess of her own making. But she has a lot of rose and orchid petals stuck to her too from the labyrinth. Honestly she kind of looks like she got into a fight with a flower cart and lost.]

What is going on...?

[It never stops. Just when they thought things were going to be better... But opening her eyes and squinting at the city before her, it's more than just "what".]

Where... am I?

Mm, if I've managed to find three of them without looking, I'm sure you'll come across them very soon.

[Seriously they are the easiest people to find in the city we're practically tripping in Madrigals here

But ah, so that's how it is. Jun smiles a little. If there's one thing you can say about the Madrigals, they really love each other]

Haha, sure, I'll do what I can. Though I'm sure she'll be really happy to see you here. She seems to really love her family.

...thank you. I'm going to look for them soon. At least as soon as I have a better grasp on the city. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little interested in what all this place has to offer.

[She won't be helping anyone if she rushes off without a direction and gets herself hopelessly lost. But the issues with her Gift and her missing family aside this is-- kind of thrilling. She's never gotten to go anywhere new before. It's an adventure!]

It's a big city, but if there's something specific you're interested in, I bet we could find something.

[What she would be interested in... She finds herself drawing a huge blank. Her whole life she's always played the part she was meant to play. So she really doesn't know what she wants to do. It's like a blank canvas just waiting to be filled and--]

Well... What's a good place to see a lot of different things?

Sure! I just got off work so I have time.

[His dad is working this evening, so he's got at least a few hours before he starts fussing.

As for a place to see lots of different things...]

Maybe the mall? There's lots of different kinds of shops there.

[Work-- right. That's something she'll have to give some serious thought in the next few days too. They can't all just get by on their Gifts anymore. But for now...]

That sounds-- [No, she will NOT say perfect.] exactly like what I'm looking for. Thank you.

[oh yay she liked his idea! He'll stand up from the bench]

Great! It's not far from here, just a few blocks.

[And it's close too--! Convenient! She nods quickly and stands; brushing the last of the flower carnage from her dress.]

Great! Which way do we go?

[He'll gesture northward before he starts walking in that direction]

This way!

[he does make sure to walk at a pace she can keep up with, what with being in that dress and all]

Sometimes I like to go there after work and browse some of the shops.

[Isabela waits, letting him take the lead before following alongside. She's glad to have a guide who knows about this sort of thing because she gets the feeling that if she had gone in on her own she probably would have been overwhelmed.

For a moment she seems to weigh in on what she really wants to say before she commits to it.]

...this might seem like a strange question but-- what do you like to do just for fun?

[He keeps walking, making sure to keep an eye on her as they go so she doesn't get lost. Like the rest of the Madrigals, this has to be the first time she ever stepped into a big modern city. Best to be careful.]

That's not a strange question at all. [If anything, it's stranger that she THINKS it counts as one. Just what was their lives like in that Encanto..?] I like watch shows, especially anime. I also like to play video games, garden and make desserts.
