[Tsuna is standing off to the side, trying not to be noticed.

He's not entirely sure what he's doing here, for a variety of reasons. He'd seen the request and well, a thousand dollars is a thousand dollars but he also has no idea how to fight a mimic. For all his video game knowledge, it doesn't really transfer over to real life.

But he also can't shake the voice in his head that tells him to just do it. It's a familiar voice, and yet Tsuna is unable to place it. So it just kind of sits and tells him to do things. Things he doesn't want to do and yet ends up doing them anyway. It's annoying.

He looks around. The store should be closing soon.]

[Katsuki doesn't reply to that. Sounded like it was just musing aloud anyway. Instead he nukes some meatballs, tosses them on two plates and returns. Sitting down across from Tsuna and pushing one of the plates toward him.]

You get hurt at all back there?

I don't think so. I think I'm okay...might be a bit sore later though.

I don't usually move like that.

[Just when he's under the influence of his weird powers. It always comes back to haunt him somehow though.

But he reaches out and grabs a fork to spear a meatball.]

[He shoves a meatball in his mouth. For once not caring about the taste of what he's eating. He's just tired and hungry.]

We're probably not getting out until morning. So I'm probably passing out on one of the couches.

And we don't need to find a first aid kit or something?

[Just to make sure. They's already made a mess so what's one more thing.]

I've always kinda wanted to lie in one of the room displays they have...

How do you even do those explosions though?

Nah. Nothing is bleeding broken.

[But that sure is a question with a weird as fuck answer.]

[Meatball halfway to his mouth, Tsuna pauses. He's glad Katsuki's okay but...]

That's really weird.

Just out of your palms?

As far as I know, yeah. Or at least it only ignites there.

[It's a hella weird super power. But hey. He's not complaining about being able to blow shit up.]

I've been testing some shit out since it started happening. You should probably see if you can figure out what triggers yours. It seems useful. If you can harness it.

[Tsuna seems skeptical about that, since it feels like he's just along for the ride when it happens.]

I don't even really remember how it started. I think I got hit on the head or something.

Back at the beginning of the year, I wouldn't have imagined it either. When this Zodiac shit first started, I could barely conjure enough fire to light a candle.

[And now he can blow shit up.]

Could you do anything before zodiac?

The Zodiac shit? Since April. The fire thing? A long ass time. I just tried to ignore it until the Zodiac bullshit started. Then in May's realm, someone had to protect me.

[He rolls a meatball back and forth on the plate absently with his fork before stabbing it with the prongs to pick it up.]

So I started practicing with the fire thing. Swore I wasn't gonna let that happen again. Next time I faced a monster, I was taking it down.

Have you always lived here? In Kaisou I mean.

Nah. Grew up in Japan. Moved here for college a couple years back.

[He has something he's been wanting to ask actually...]

You didn't experience anything weird until the app showed up, right?

I mean, there were always urban legends and stuff. A lot of that floated around town.

[He knew of things, but never actually investigated, being kind of a weenie in that regard.]

When I got the app, I kinda started taking more notice. It was like things became a lot more real.

Yeah. I've heard that from others too. It's weird. Almost like Zodiac predicted you guys would start noticing things. But people like me... I've known about this shit my whole life and somehow flew under their radar until April.

Your whole life? Seriously?

[Granted, Tsuna's spent his whole life trying to ignore it all. Living with it...that just seems like a lot.]

If Zodiac's trying to figure it out though...maybe that's why? They're looking at things more closely.

Not that that's a good thing.

As long as I can remember, anyway. Had an incident as a kid. Then I started seeing shit. Think the fire shit started in middle school. Gave the old man a heart attack. Set our curtains on fire when I got pissed one day.

[Maybe it's the bonding over mimic fighting. But he's being a little more forthcoming with things today.]

I don't actually believe Zodiac is trying to figure shit out. I think they're up to something.

[Tsuna nods. It's weird, being confronted with this stuff now, knowing that on some level he's always accepted that it was real.]

Like what?

Dunno. I just don't trust it. They're tracking people who have connections to the supernatural. Collecting us. Monitoring us with their app. They have to have a reason. That's not something a company just decides to do one day. I've had a bad feeling about it since day one.

[Tsuna nods.]

When you put it that way, it all sounds pretty malicious.

I guess you could just not use the app? Maybe?

Maybe. But at this point, I don't see it as an option for me. It's not in me to turn my back on people in danger when I can do something about it. I'd rather go out fighting then be a coward and run.
