Video, un: clovertales
WHO: Souta Suzukaze
WHERE: Network
WHEN: July 24
WHAT: Souta's turn with the animal curse
WARNINGS: Soft bunny, maybe surprise glowing powers
[Video feed suddenly turns on for the Libra app. There is a slight view of an apartment ceiling and a few furniture legs, angled so low that the phone must be on the floor. However, the room is mostly obscured by a fuzzy belly as a small rabbit paws repeated at the screen.]
[Folks who have been around Kaisou a while can probably guess what's happened.]
[Someone is a bit too panicked to realize they've finally managed to turn on the phone app. Those who recognize the username might have an inkling as to who.]

Oh my god.
A bunny doing cute shit on camera.
That's gotta be like one of those popular videos on the internet, right?
1/2
Hello?
[The rabbit speaks tentatively with a soft boy's voice. It takes Souta a moment to realize he can no longer see head-on like this and turn his head to the side so he can view the screen.]

[Why is there a cat???]
[Oh no, oh no, panic is back. Prey instinct is hard to handle for an already anxious teen. So even though he knows deep down it's just his phone, Souta hunches low and just... goes very still.]
[Can't see him if he stops moving. (She can absolutely see him.)]

Oh shit I didn't know you could also talk. Are you like new here or something? Did they bring a little bunny over here for some reason that's pretty weird.
I don't know who they is like whoever brings us and dumps us here.
no subject
[So it should be fine to talk to them, yeah? He sniffs at the phone tentatively, body still stiff from the nerves.]
No, I moved here almost a year ago. [In the city, though not the app.]
I don't usually look like this.

Hello?
[Just to see if it responds. He's not going to feel stupid for trying to talk to a rabbit after what he's turned into and after seeing a talking cat and talking bird people.]
no subject
[He seemed like a reasonable person once he had calmed down about the surprise memory. Perhaps he could help. The rabbit stops pawing at the screen and sits back so the video is visible to his little eyes.]
Hello!
Do you remember me? Something has gone very wrong.
[Congratulations, the bunny does indeed talk. Souta admittedly only has his voice and username for people to recognize him by right now. Not the best situation for someone who tends to be quietly on the side lines.]

[Souta the rabbit fidgets. He would very much like the help, since this is such a confusing turn of events, but should he be inviting people from the app over? Is that allowed?]
Greens would be nice, but you don't have to go out of your way. My dad should be able to get me some.
...Eventually.
[Oh no, his dad. His dad who has nothing to do with the Spirit Realm and will have no idea what to do with his sudden rabbit son.]
[Souta suddenly is uncertain if he is hoping dad gets home soon or not.]
no subject
[Is there some way Moxxie could contact him and let him know his son needs help?]
no subject
[He squeaks. How Moxxie would manage to find his father's phone number is a detail that flies over little rabbit Souta's head. His ears tilt back, feeling bad about that outburst.]
I need to figure out how to explain this first.
[How do you break the news about a sudden animal change, especially when you scarcely understand it yourself?]
no subject
This is a serious problem, then. Do you even know if regular people can understand you? He might just think you're a normal rabbit.
no subject
[This is a possible issue that hadn't occurred to him.]
I... don't see why not. You can understand me, the talking cat could understand me. Why would he not be able to recognize me?

[Rabbits don't seem that unusual.]

I mean, I thought I was normal before I could hear the plants talking. Maybe dad is like me, and we just don't know yet.
[Or maybe he is grasping for straws here.]
no subject
Maybe you should come up with a back up plan. Just in case he just thinks you're a normal rabbit.
no subject
[The exclamation sounds more disheartened than doubtful. The idea that his father wouldn't be able to know that it's him feels breaks his heart a little.]
I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have another plan. I wouldn't want to risk my plants going without water for too long... or worrying my dad.
[...Also food, but so long as his father gets home eventually he should be alright. His dad wouldn't just starve a mystery bunny.]
[That was if his dad got home today and not late in the night.]
no subject
Um...do you have any way in or out of your house that would be accessible to someone who's roughly possum sized? If so, I could bring you food if need be, or sneak you out if you want me to at some point.
no subject
[The bunny hops back and forth.]
We have a balcony, but it's a little high up. But I might be able to get you the spare key for the front door.
[Windows are out of the question. No way Souta was getting that high up in this state.]

Yes, please.
And... if you brought greens while picking it up, that would be nice.

Um... let me know if you need directions.
