schoolingfish: (Determined seamonster)

[There is so much about what Alberto just said that Luca disagrees with. Alberto's dad was definitely wrong about a lot. Alberto was not old enough to be on his own. Even if he was, the best place to start out on his own certainly wouldn't have been an abandoned island. Sure, Alberto's a sea monster. Theoretically, he could swim out to the human town or find the sea monster village, but Alberto's dad clearly hadn't taught him much accurate information about sea monsters or humans, and what he taught about the former wasn't flattering, and the latter would have killed him if they'd found out before he and Alberto won over Massimo.

Luca has a lot of thoughts about Alberto's dad and all of them were negative, but he's not going to bring that up. At least not here. He doesn't want to give these sirens any information that would convince them further that he and Alberto didn't know what they were talking about. Besides, Alberto did make a lot of good points, too. He doesn't know what the full situation is between these sirens and the humans, but he's sure luring them into the water to eat them isn't making things any safer for them.

He doesn't want to say anything after Alberto's great finishing remark, though, so Luca just gives an angry snort before turning, swimming alongside Alberto hand in hand. Unfortunately, some of the sirens don't seem so willing to let them go.]

Children! You're far too young to know what you're doing! [She then turns to some of the other sirens.] We can't just let them swim to their deaths! We have to stop them!

[And with that, several sirens start racing after them. Luca glances back and, seeing that, picks up his speed.]

Alberto, hurry! We have to get out of here, they're chasing us!
