The Prince of the Park
WHO: Franciscus Erkens and YOU!
WHERE: Kami State Park
WHEN: Around the end of June/start of July
WHAT: Franciscus tries to get properly settled in, and finds it a bit of a hassle.
WARNINGS: Mentions of starvation and abandonment, isolation
Tarot Card of the Stupid Tent
[There are plenty of campsites around the park, but this person isn't setting up in any of those. Instead, he's found a small clearing that's mostly out of the way, where it's less likely someone will stumble upon him-but apparently they have. He's dressed in a surprisingly nice suit, one that's a bit scuffed and stained by now but still looks like he's been caring for it as well as he can. He's cursing to himself as he tries to set up various tent poles, which keep falling over on him. A few vines seem to sprout out of the ground to hold some in place, but it doesn't seem to be helping. He's also muttering to himself.]
They said this would be easy to set up. I bet they expected more than one pair of hands-yes, I know you're here too, but you can't manifest, right? I know you'd help if you could. It's fine. Worst comes to worst we just sleep in the old one. No, I don't think it'll rain. You like the rain anyways. Sure, I don't, but a little won't kill me...
Tam Lin but PG-Rated
[As you walk along one of the less well-trodden paths, you might hear a creak from a tree above you. A figure is sitting in the crook of a branch, mostly hidden from view by the leaves. He chuckles, loftily.]
Oh my, you dare walk these paths alone? At least tell me you have some form of tribute for the good people of the woods. Perhaps a taste of mortal food?

At the sound of a voice above him he jolts and screams. But as he looks up and sees... just some guy?]
Dude! Not cool! If you want someone to share their snacks, just ask.

Tell me what sort of refreshments you have with you, th- [He shifts to lean forward, and then falls out of the fucking tree with a yelp. The branches lean towards him enough and he's not that far off the ground, so at least he hasn't broken anything. But now Demyx can see him clearly, lying in the bushes looking annoyed.]
That was not meant to happen.

Uhh... I've got some cereal bars I think? I don't think I ate them all...
[He kind of rummages in his sling pack and comes up with a couple of them.]
Yeah. I do. You a Golden Graham guy or a Lucky Charm guy?
no subject
[Straightening up, he clambers to his feet.] I'll take one of your Golden Graham cereal bars, then.

Are you... uhhh... living out here, man?
no subject
Of course not. Why would you think that? I am simply taking some time to get back to nature. [He tilts his head as if listening to some inaudible voice.] Shhhhh!
[...despite his best efforts, he looks pretty disheveled.]

[Suuuure, man.]
Okay. Well if you're good, I'm just gonna... keep going. Got a cookout to find.
no subject
Of course you may be on your way. [He waves a hand graciously, before pausing.] And what exactly will be served at this cookout?
no subject
[So descriptive.]
Why? Have you seen a cookout going on? Because I got lost.
