Hello! Thank you for using the Libra App!

We hope you find this message well! We have an exciting announcement for a new feature that our programmers and alchemists have been hard at work perfecting since the incident in May. Starting today, the Libra app child safety safeguards have been enhanced! Children ages fifteen and younger will not be able to enter any parts of the Spirit Realm deemed dangerous without an older person accompanying them! We hope this step will help protect the younger demographic of Libra users going forward!

Moving on, our seers have been cautiously optimistic that this month will be a calmer one! Perfect timing to enjoy the summer sun and take a much needed vacation.
Though, it seems the water element will be in full effect this month, so little can be done about the humidity. Try to stay cool and hydrated everyone! Stop by the Dennys near Undertown for one of their many cool refreshing drinks, or sweat it out with some spicy food at Wanmin Restaurant in Midtown!

But oh, a word of warning from the fine folks at P.O.K.E.G.O: anyone who chooses to go visit to our lovely State Park to get away from the city should be on the look out for ice bears, cactus creatures and dragons. Also, make sure to check for ticks, watch out for poison ivy, and avoid littering!

Alright, I get your point. I'm not really keen on fighting a dragon this size either. Especially when he hasn't done anything to merit it.

[Katsuki stares at it for several minutes. Disappointed that their hunt has turned up something that wouldn't even be fun to fight.]

[He pulls out his phone, pulls up Google and hits the microphone button.]

How do you train a dog?

[One moment. Scrolling through results, picking one and opening it. Eyes scanning the screen, reading.]

[He watches him do this in silence. Guess we're doing this]

[I mean Katsuki sure is gonna try. It's up to Jun if he wants in on attempted dragon training or not. Katsuki won't stop him from leaving.

He eyes the dragon doubtfully.]

I think sheep are probably bigger than this thing.

[Guess they're just going to have to try things and see what sticks? He shrugs off his backpack and digs around for his lunch.]

Maybe it'll go for a turkey sandwich? I can always come back later with stuff to try. This is probably gonna be an ongoing thing, winning it over.

[Jun meanwhile is just watching with idle curiosity. He likes his pokemon, but he wouldn't call himself a big animal lover. But it is interesting seeing Katsuki get invested in this]

You might as well try. My cousin fed a spirit realm dragon a ham sandwich once, and it seemed to like that.

[If asked, Katsuki would definitely say he's not a big animal lover either. But he has definitely fixated on winning over this dragon.]

Your cousin? That makes two family members of yours involved in these spirit realm shenanigans. Were they trying to befriend the dragon too?

[He takes the turkey sandwich, moves a little closer until the dragon takes notice and then sits down. Tearing off a piece he tosses it towards the dragon. Watching as it sniffs and then eats the bite. He's just going to sit there and toss bites of sandwich to it.

There's no way he's winning it over today. But it's a start and he's already making plans to keep coming back.]

Magic seems to run in the family. [Not that they had any great family legacy or anything. But still.] And no, we were trying to get passed it so we could complete a mission.

[Jun meanwhile will go sit on a nearby tree stump, watching this affair go down. ]

Makes sense, I guess. Hereditary. Pretty sure my family is mostly normal though.

[Pretty sure, he says. I mean... as far as he can remember they didn't find the possession thing that alarming? But they could have just hid it from him. He'd been pretty young.]

[Minato had literally introduced himself with what was possessing him. Weirdest introduction. But it left an impression.

He tosses another bit of sandwich to the dragon before dropping casually;]

Dunno. Can't really remember a time I wasn't possessed? I don't even think I was in school yet when it happened.

[That gets a fond chuckle out of him.] Mm, many have said we have a strong family resemblance. It's pretty surprising considering we didn't grow up together...

['It' being the weirdness. And yet Katsuki has managed to find himself considering both of them friends. So. He can't say it's a bad thing.]

Mm. Fell in a river. Kind of a stupid way for it to happen. Kids get into all kinds of trouble when you're not looking.

[Yeah he's not going to question what Katsuki means by "it", because he can guess. It's a very common reaction when someone meets both him and Minato.

But yeah that is a surprisingly mundane answer, all things considered. he kicks his legs out]

I don't know if I'd call it stupid, it's something that could happen to anyone. [Even adults drown in rivers all the time] ... I'm glad the kitsune was there to save you.

[He quietly tosses another bit of sandwich at the dragon. Watching it gobble the piece up. It's... nice to hear that?

He doesn't respond at first but after several seconds pass in silence he finally does, tossing the last bite of sandwich.]

[He's quiet for a moment, the kind of quiet that indicates that there's something more he wants to say, but....the moment passes, and he can't put it quite into the words he wants to say

So in the end, he changes the subject]

He's not rejecting the sandwich, it seems.

[Katsuki welcomes the subject change. This whole vulnerability thing is still a work in progress. Better to shift topics before it hits the discomfort level for him.]

[He eyes the dragon as it sniffs around, looking for more.]

I'll probably be hiking out here to feed it a lot if I'm gonna win it over. But I think it's doable.

[he nods at the assessment. He knows nothing of training wild animals, so he'll take his word for it.]

The hiking will be good training for you, at least.

I do a lot of hiking anyway. This is just an extra reason to do it more often.

[Katsuki knows nothing about taming wild animals either. He's absolutely winging it. But he's stubborn.

He stands up, shrugging his backpack back on.]

Guess I can text Bird Brain to let him know we didn't die fighting a dragon.

[Yeah that tracks. Katsuki does seem like the outdoorsy active type. He'll move to stand up too]
