[ The feed clicks on to reveal Eda standing in a shop, her background relatively clear of odd junk for once. She's smirking at the camera. ]

So, a little birdie told me there's about to be a nerd convention in town. The birdie is named Luz and she's been talking my ear off about it.

So I've been thinking to myself, y'know, I could dust off my old sewing machine for this. Been helping Luz with her costumes and all.

[ She pans the camera to the side to reveal a little cloth-covered table with an obviously slightly older model of a sewing machine on it, surrounded by various supplies. A little chair stands in front. ]

And after that I've decided to set up a little sewing station in my shop, for all you nerds who don't have your own machines at home. Free of charge, just bring your fabric. Have fun!

[ She winks and waves, and the feed ends. ]

That thing being that she totally watched that show as a teen and is less than impressed by what she remembers of the masked guy, but shhhhh. ]

Well he is! You know, that first season. When no one knows who he is. I mean sure, if they at least made his hair different, and if he sounded different and he wasn't so easy to beat up, he'd be cooler and-look, you know, I just REALLY liked his costume and the idea of helping girls by throwing a rose at my enemy like a super cool guy, ok?

[In Luz's earliest memories, she idealized being a soft chad. This actually explained her SECOND costume much better].

[ Internally, Eda is going "awww" at this. Luz is incredibly endearing sometimes. ]

You'll be way cooler than him, okay?

[Luz was also an incredible dork once you broke her down].

Thanks to you I'm already pulling off the cape swag better than him!

Dang right, you are!

[ Finger guns!! ]

[She gave her a hug, because it was Luz, but ALSO because it was Eda!

[ Congrats! Eda is completely taken aback by the hug! She just kinda stands there all stiff and lets it happen. ]

[At that, Luz couldn't help but giggle].

Some things never change!

[ Eda gently but firmly prys Luz off of her. ]
