When she spied the girl eyeing Tio Bruno, she did manage to guess what would happen next here. Tio Bruno seemed like many things, but strong was not one that came to mind, whereas Luisa was just starting to come into her gift. When she saw that people were crowding around her, happy with the gift, Luz smiled a little thinly here.

Ok, yes. It was a gift and certainly something that people seemed to encourage. But somehow, being appreciated for something she could do and not for who they were? Luz didn't know why, but something about this seemed a little...compulsory.
