"So far?" Danny shrugs. "All I know is that up until last week I was fine, and then I fell through two floors and a wall at the convention center and starting turning parts of myself invisible. And I still have no idea how to control any of this."

Danny had never wanted powers before this, and now that he had them he only wanted them to go away. He missed the days he could rely on the floor still being solid. And don't get him started on how hard it was to eat when his hands couldn't stay solid long enough to hold a fork.

He takes a moment to consider how awful seeing the future would be (while ignoring the hint of deja vu. A memory whispering in the back of his hand of desperation, despair, a proud smile and hope. "I see every twist that time may, or may not, take.")

"I'm sorry," he says. "It sounds like that power sucks too."

A frown. "Well, I guess? But it almost seems like it has to be harder than that."
