Hello.

I got a cat cloak that I think is somehow magical??? Like always land on your feet kind of magic. I already got one, so don't need a second one.

It has cat ears, and is black. First come first serve.


Also, I got a giant key in the mail.

It feels like I'm supposed to have it. Just don't know what for? Any ideas?

I did start getting night vision around the time of the first cloak.

I don't know if it's completely harmless. It might make someone do something stupid since they'll always land on their feet.

Not as in *literally* cursed. Keep forgetting that's a real worry these days... Anyway, it just looks unwieldy and poorly balanced for fighting at a glance.

But I can't think of anything else it'd be made for. Maybe there's more to it than a simple look suggests.

I've held it in my hands and it's a lot more balanced than it looks. Like I've used it before??? Just don't remember where or why I'd have used something like this.

I've been through a few of these gates, but I haven't met a giant yet!

It's very strange for a key since it feels like it has a sword grip.

I don't know the reason yet, and I'm not complaining. With some of the gates we've had pop up, I could have used a weapon that feels like it's made for me!

Do you know how to use a sword already? Does the high-school offer fencing lessons?

I can't explain how I know how to use a sword... I was in the boxing club in high school. Don't know if the Uni here has any sword classes.

Like, I was holding an axe in that weird farming gate, and I knew just how to use it to fell trees super easy. Maybe I was a swordsman in another life.
