Gonna make a record in the month of may
WHO: Tsunayoshi Sawada and you!
WHERE: The High School, The Network, Stardew Valley, Somewhere in the City
WHEN: Throughout May
WHAT: A New Challenger has arrived and sometimes life changing events happen in slow increments rather than with a bang
WARNINGS: A vague sense of unease in one prompt.
[A - The Network; username: Tsuna27]
[Tsuna doesn't really notice the app until late. He probably should be asleep but it's the last month of school so who's really gonna care?]
There's no way this is a real app right? I'm probably just inviting a bunch of bots to invade my phone.
So hi to all the bots I guess.
[B - High School]
[
i
Tsuna is exhausted and the school day hasn't even started properly.
That's par for the course really, and if it weren't for finals, he probably wouldn't even have come. But with his grades as abysmal as they are, he probably needs everything else he can get. Probably would be easier if he had slept the night before but the lights in the sky had kept him up.
He sits at his desk, staring at the assignment and sighing.]
What's the point? I'm probably gonna fail anyway...
ii
[By lunchtime, Tsuna has more or less given up.
He was here. He tried. His next class is PE, and there's no way he's putting himself through that humiliation. So instead he heads for the nearest exit.
What's the point of sticking around?
Feel free to catch him on his way out or maybe you're meeting him as he's wandering the streets.]
C - Stardew by Mistake
[By the end of the day, Tsuna is pretty exhausted, but he has to go into town for some errands. After all, he should get his mom something for Mother's Day. But Tsuna isn't really paying attention when he steps on the train, and is already nodding off as the doors close. The rattle of the train as it heads off down the track is enough to seal the deal, and Tsuna is quickly in a doze until the train pulls into the next station.
Almost automatically, Tsuna gets up and steps off the train, and even takes a few steps before he clues in that something is wrong. It's quiet here, almost too quiet. Where are the sounds of other trains? Annoucements? Crowds?
Tsuna rubs at his eyes, shaking his head to further summon wakefulness and finds himself not where he was expecting. The train station is a lot more rustic than he was expecting, and there's a lot more trees, and nature. The chirping of birds.
He looks around, only to see the retreating lights of the train as it departs.]
HIIIIEEE!!!
[He might have a slight problem]
[D - Ignoring the world, or trying to anyway]
[Tsuna doesn't like being out late at the best of times.
He wouldn't admit it, but he's a little bit scared of the dark, and well, he's heard enough stories of people being jumped to know that he is a prime target for something like that. Never mind everything else that goes on in this city. Or the lights in the sky. Which are probably just search lights or a satellite or something.
Nothing weird or out of the ordinary. He's had a Day already.
He hurries home, almost at a light jog, trying to ignore the way everything seems darker. He'll get home, Mom will have supper ready, and maybe he can just play some video games instead of doing his homework.
Though he pauses at a sudden sounds and looks around.]
W-what was that? I-i-i-is someone there?
E - Wildcard
[Ooc: Tsuna is brand new to the game! He's a Normal AU who is somewhat aware of the paranormal and eager to ignore it. If you're looking to do something completely different, go right ahead or hit me up for plotting by PM or at

A (text; un: Astral) _and_ B.ii (at school)
[If Tsuna responds to that, further responses (if any) probably won't be coming until sometime later, because it is late and Katida needs to get herself to bed.
The following day, during the tail end of the lunch period while Tsuna is making as if to skip the rest of the day, he might spot something unusual: at one of the lockers that he passes by on his way, there's a somewhat-short pink-and-white-haired girl with a large pink...something sitting on her head as if it were some kind of hat. While it very obviously is not actually a hat, it might be hard to say what that something really is while she's facing away from him.
It looks like she's just grabbing some things out of the locker, but whether it's for any of the classes she has left in the day or she's planning on ditching as well, who knows?]
no subject
I thought I was just talking into the void. I didn't expect the void to talk back.
[He should stop himself. And he probably will if there isn't a response.]
[But then we fast forward to school.
Tsuna is resolutely walking past, trying not to stare. He really shouldn't it's rude. And it's just a hat. Nothing out of the ordinary. Things are totally normal.
Besides, he's trying not to draw attention to himself. He's made up his mind to skip the afternoon and he doesn't need anyone asking questions or drawing him back to the classroom. So he'll keep walking.
At least until he trips over the garbage can that was sticking out into the hallway. Not a stumble either. Tsuna's down, the can is down, there's a clatter of noise and Tsuna just groans from the ground.]
Just my luck...
no subject
It's perfectly normal. (It's not normal at all.) For her own part, Kat is currently pretending it doesn't exist at all.]
That sounded like a pretty nasty spill.
[She puts what stuff she's pulled out back into the locker and closes it before coming over to get the can resituated and maybe to also offer a hand to pull him back up; she still wants to take her stuff out, but she's not leaving her locker open without being at it herself.]
no subject
But he sighs and pulls himself back up.]
I'm fine...I've had worse really.
[Said with a self-deprecating laugh. He honestly has.]
Guess I should watch where I'm going more.

Welcome to the world of the weird.

Pretty sure I didn't sign up for anything recently.
What's it even for?

That price is hunting and eating rodents. She prefers to do this at night, because it is a bit embarrassing, and also owls.
She's just jumping the rat in front of here when a voice interrupts her, aiding the rat in escaping her. ]
Oh, drat! I was so close.

[Tsuna makes a high pitched noise and stumbles back a few steps. Despite asking if someone was there, he was really hoping it wasn't the case. And for someone to jump out of the darkness? Well that just sends him over the edge.]
U--uhh, sorry? D-Didn't meant to disturb you. I-i-i'll be going now.
[And he'll try to turn to leave, but trips over his own feet and stumbles again.]
no subject
You good there?
no subject
[Tsuna says, weakly. He's managed to stay on his feet this time, but jarred his hand against a wall in keeping himself upright.]
Again, sorry for disturbing you.
un: starblazing
gosh do you mean that robots use the app too??
no subject
I was just assuming computer programs.
no subject
besides weird stuff happens a lot here to everyone right?
it doesnt really feel like it happens for any reason in particular
no subject
I mean, I try to avoid a lot of the weird stuff. It's not something anyone really needs.
I just want to be normal

[He runs over towards the train tracks, ready to help... only find another boy standing by himself.]
Hello! Are you alright?
no subject
The--the train left.
[It's all he can really get out at the moment. He looks a little horrified.]
I need to get home...
no subject
Did you miss the train back? [He asks in a gentle but understanding tone.] Don't worry, you'll get another chance.

Text, un: Dynamight--running with the tutoring thing we discussed let me know if i need to change it
So you suspect it's a bot-infested fake app and you still posted with it?
You're hopeless sometimes.
Lucky for you it's not fake.
Unlucky for you, things are about to get weird.
But heads up, no matter how weird it gets you're not allowed to slack off on your school work.
works for me
Th-that would depend on the level of weirdness right?
What if it's so weird that I can't do my work?
no subject
If I can keep doing my school work through the weirdness so can you.
[So unforgiving.]
Also don't make me give you the stranger danger talk.
I'm tired of giving brats the stranger danger talk on this app.
[He has done it a grand total of ONCE.]
