Aloha all! First off, welcome to all the people who've just come in! To everyone I haven't met yet, I'm Moana!

Second, for everyone who goes to Kaisou Public High, who's planning on going to prom? I know it's kind of last minute since prom is this weekend, but there seems to suddenly be a lot of people who came just in time for the end of the year. If you're thinking about maybe going to prom but don't know anyone or don't want to go by yourself, I'm getting a group of friends together so you're welcome to join us! Just let me know!

Is that how that works? Huh. That at least makes sense why most people her can't sense some of the magic people have here too.

Oh. So there's no way to monitor the magic or to keep out something potentially strong that would come out of the Veins? I'm surprised that they don't have a group of magical specialists when it comes to investigating what those veins can do.

That sounds like it would be hard though. How would you know how to find her? There has to be more spirits than her in that Realm, and you'd have to wade though a lot of them to get to her, right?

Pretty much, yeah.

I mean, not that I'm aware of? But Zodiac apparently has a way of monitoring people's spirit energies, which is how even people from here end up getting the app. So they might have something that can monitor things coming from the Spirit Realm and maybe just aren't telling anyone.

[ Because she wouldn't put it past a big corporation like that. ]

Right. Not to mention it seems like there are different areas in the Spirit Realm, just based on what people have been saying. So even if I go in there, there's no telling if she'll be in that particular location. I know it's a pretty long shot, which is why I haven't really tried it.

So it's like we're in on a secret most people don't know about, but with the drawbacks that we'll look crazy if we start talking about it with non-magical folk.

In other words, they're part of the mystery we have to figure out then. Whatever us going on, they're at the heart of it. For all we know, they might be the enemy we have to fight.

[After the Boiling Isles, Luz wasn't keen on trusting the seemingly helpful people who happened to have a vested interest in what they did].

How many areas do you know about, in the Spirit Realm? I keep hearing mention of it, but no one seems to have a map, or even a clear idea about what lies there.

Something like that, yeah. I definitely had some trouble with that growing up.

It's a possibility. It's always a little suspicious when anyone wants to harness supernatural energy for anything. Let along a corporation.

I can't really say, to be honest. I've only really heard from the people on the app who've been in there.

Right, because you saw your grandmother but no one else did, right?

If a corporation is trying to do it, I'm never going to think it's for good reasons. Corporations don't become what they are because they're nice and believe in helping people out.

Right. So either it keeps changing, or its big enough that we have not real concept of how large it is yet?

Yeah, my Gramma and then other ghosts as I got older. Believe me, it gets a bit awkward when a ghost watns to talk to you when you're in school or something.

[ Her Gramma at least would wait until they were alone, but not all ghosts took kindly to being ignored. ]

For-profit organizations rarely do. [ Because then the only thing they really listen to is money. ]

Exactly. There's really no way of knowing for sure.

Oh man. That is a lot to think about, and I can't imagine having to deal with a ghost when you're in the bathroom or something. I'm gonna hope that no ghosts were that insistant.

Crud. So there's no way out of flat out exploring then.

Fortunately I never ran into those kinds of ghosts.

Pretty much yeah. And unless we can convince them something would make them money, they definitely wouldn't listen to us.

Not really. We could give it a try anyway, but there's no guarantee that it wouldn't change at some point.

See, I want to find out about these other factions. Why is Zodiac so much bigger than them? What exactly made them so on top of things, more than anyone else.

And no, I'm not accepting money as the answer. There has to be more to it!

Rarg. All right then. I guess that means whenever there's an opportunity to get to the Spirit Realm, we should take it?

Yeah. Unfortunately there are some that are pretty bad or dangerous. Just like anyone else.

Part of it might be all the resources they have. Zodiac deals in just about every kind of business there is, so who knows just how much they have access to?

It's as much of a plan as we're gonna have, I guess.

Probably have had some traumatic pasts that were left behind. Or something.

That's what I'm hoping to find out, actually. I want to know how big their operation actually is, and what they can do. Someone's got to be able to infiltrate them, right?

Yeah, unfinished business and the like. Although sometimes it seems like some ghosts just want to stay here, because they seem pretty content as they are.

[ Some just want to live quiet afterlives in their haunt of choice. ]

Maybe? It's hard to say how many businesses are part of Zodiac, they just have so many.

I don't know how I'd feel about being in the same world over and over again. Wouldn't that be boring after being there such a long time?

[Did ghosts even have a concept of time in that way]?

Someone should start finding out then. That way we can start getting ready to explore OUTSIDE of the Zodiac. I find it a little creepy that they have their hand in everything, including us.
