[Labyrinth]

[She didn't understand it. It was some kind of battlefield... was this another one of Wammawink's memories?

... No, it looked different. It felt like home. But it wasn't? There were little differences that seemed like they should be familiar, but it wasn't. It all felt just a little off.]

Wammawink? Guys?

... Rider?

[She sounds a bit hopeful, like she'll get an answer. But it's just a very eerie silence that follows. No Centaurs, no colorful world, no humans... nothing. Just broken weapons and a scarred land.]

Okay, Tree Shamans! You win! You can stop... whatever this is! I just need the next key piece, okay?!

[The City]

[The sight of the city startles her more than the Labyrinth. She's never seen anything so... alive, in her life. All the bright lights and noises are disorienting, and she wanders around the city in a lost daze for what feels like forever.

After a while, she just... lets herself into a building. She doesn't know it yet, but it's a cafe. Not that she knows what a cafe is anyway.]

Oh! Humans! That's great, I need to find a human. Can you help me?

[IT'S JUST A TALKING HORSE EVERYTHING IS FINE.]

Cars...? [Horse shakes her head.] Nevermind! I can't wait around for Rider for show up! I gotta get back to Centaurworld - no, I mean my world!

I'm sorry... right now, I don't know if we know of any ways back to the worlds people come from.

I don't know too much about all of them, unfortunately. I only just got clued into some of this... let's go with "supernatural" stuff, myself. But I know there are some people around here who claim to be from another world. But I don't think many of them have claimed to be from the same world, yet?

I haven't seen any that look like your Rider, though.

Well - what can I do? I can't just stand around and hope she gets here!

[Rean's eyes widen at the implication, and without thinking he immediately reaches out a hand, resting it against Horse's neck to gently pet.]

I'm sure she's okay. She's probably just as worried about you as you are about her.

I might not know what you can do, but I imagine the people who also got brought here are probably looking for a way home. If we get you in contact with them, maybe you can all work together? It's better than searching alone, at least.

[She appreciates the reassurance, she really does. She lowers her head a bit.]

We were... in a pretty bad situation, before I got to Centaurworld. And then here. I guess. I gotta get back home to her, to know she's okay.

I guess I'll go looking for them. Maybe we if all put our heads together, we can figure something out. Better than just... wandering.

Yeah... if you're this worried, I can only imagine it was dire. You don't have to tell me any more than that if you don't want to.

[He stops mid-pet as she mentions going looking for them, and quickly digs into his pocket with his off hand.]

Wait, no, don't go off on your own. I can get in contact with at least one of them, hopefully we'll be able to get someone to come here and pick you up. If you wander the city all alone, you might wind up in trouble.

[Time to type out the most awkward text he's ever sent with one hand.]

Oh, you don't have to do that... if I can handle Centaurworld and a war, how bad could this place be?

[Rean sighs. Amal's thankfully quick to respond.]

People here might try to lock you up. We're not used to animals just roaming around like this. And if you fight, they might try to hurt you or worse.

Amal— the otherworlder I know— is on his way. I don't mind standing out here for a little longer until he gets here.
