WHO: Lycaon, Hugo and you!
WHERE: Libra and Gemini
WHEN: 08/03
WHAT: Egg
WARNINGS: Egg
[The feed opens up to show Lycaon propping the phone up on his kitchen island, the camera showing the surrounding counters of the kitchen, as pristine and dusted as one would expect from the wolf.
Lycaon himself is dressed rather down for the occasion, having just thrown on a V neck shirt and holding two cups of tea as he sets them down on that island, one going to the blond man next to him.]
Here, I added sugar and cream--do NOT pick out the spinach in your eggs--
Ah. Ahem.
Good morning, everyone. I apologize for the early broadcast but... something strange has happened in our house and I was hoping to catch someone from POKEGO before you all left for your camping trip.
[He doesn't look upset, at least, but more...confused? Taking the phone, he aims it towards the living area, and it doesn't take long for the average viewer to see just what they're talking about. Piled together in some blankets by the door are a Dusk Form Lycanroc and a Luxray. Irene and Bruno for those who know the two.
This would be normal--they often stuck together at the house for anyone who visits.
But there, in the center of the two is a rather sizable...patterned egg. Really, it's huge.]
We awoke this morning and found this egg alongside these two. As we're rather...new to whatever this situation is, we haven't disturbed them, but any expertise on this would be appreciated.

If the egg was given to you by Arceus aka a large llama, please under no circumstances give away the egg.
My associates should know more about how to care for it.
no subject
Arceus, the patron god of all Pokemon.. I shudder to think what would happen if such a gift was refused. [Lycaon of course respects all gods, but Arceus operates on a much different wavelength than any of them. Extra care had to be taken with that one.]
[The Luxray raises his head, giving a soft grunt as he catches Lycaon's attention.]
Hm. Thankfully, Bruno has just told us this is theirs.
The..ah. 'The miracle of life', I suppose is the best way to put it.
no subject
[That says it all, really. Gods are so prone to murder and Arceus has less hinges than most.... as well as the power to back it up.
But he breaths out a small sigh of relief and relaxes when he hears that its just a normal Pokemon Egg. ]
I see... that's good to hear. In that case, congratulations to you and your Pokemon!
The explanation for why is pretty simple. Pokemon aren't as selective with their breeding partners as Earth animals, and thus have a wide range of different Pokemon species they are able to breed with. That range we usually refer to as an "egg group". Your Lycanroc and Luxray must fall in the same egg group.
[Simple!]

The only being like that around their pokemon has been the moon bat, so they were probably fine? He hadn't seen if they were into handing out eggs...
He'll continue listening while eating around the spinach. ]

.......I didn't think the pamphlets meant macrolecithal eggs.......

I'd thought Pokemon more or less followed the same principle as the Animal Kingdom, but it appears that this is one...very drastic difference.

[slowly turning to look at the magearna nearby who is, of course, made of metal.]
[janna have mercy he didn't think about the biology of it all.]

He sees Megearna. He knows where Viktor is going with this.
No he doesn't have an answer either.]

Yeah, that can happen. Do I need to add "care and raising of Pokemon" to the Pokedex already in my app?
no subject
The fact that you didn't have it before worries me.
Your sarcasm is noted. I can always ask Rina and Bruno themselves, as I can understand them, but any information on egg care would be appreciated.

Action;
We're cursed. We have to be. Or maybe it's infectious. Next we'll learn Bangboo can also interface their hard drives or something and have babyboos.
[ He doesn't remember Roscaelifer yet. ]
Re: Action;
Please. Do not give Robin ideas. He would seek to start a legacy.
[His fingers drum on the counter as he looks over at the two, contently nestled around their egg.]
We have been busy as of late, but I didn't think something like this would slip by us. Does it truly happen overnight...

When I was younger, we would trust our pokemon's eggs to those who had fire types with more... nurturing natures. As I believe has been advised already. [It was always pretty touch and go with that one.]
I do believe the youth are now taking theirs for bike rides...?
no subject
[What luck...Lycaon knows POKEGO dedicates their research to them but this man looks rather seasoned, and if he says 'younger', then that's some amount of years ago. No offense AZ.]
What luck. Though...I'm afraid we do not have any fire Pokemon to speak of. We have a young Noibat, a Lycanroc, a Luxray, a Kirlia and Gallade, a Roaring Moon, a young Dratini, and a...what we think is a Lunala.
[Wait. Hold up.]
....I beg your pardon. Did you say..bike rides, sir? [First walks, now bikes. These eggs sure are jock brained.]

where’d they get that from???
Re: text; un: doordasher
They seem to have made it together.
[Please don't make him explain it any further than that. Please tell him you know that much about birds and bees other than 'they fly outside']
It seems Veronika and Morgan will be having a younger sibling soon.

MORE babies?!! Oh my goose, once you got the ball rolling, you just didn't stop did you? This is adorable! That one on your left has your eyes!! Quick, which one are you gonna name after me?
Remember, it's important to get Bakugou a little toy so he doesn't feel excluded from the family with the new arrivals. That's SUPER important for his development! I read that in Cosmo once.

It seems she's heard what Zulius is saying and gives a little nod in agreement. Yep. You two sure went and...did whatever it is wolves and vampires do during wrestle night. Let her give a little pat to your arm. Pat pat.]
I--Sir Zulius! It's not like that--they are all Pokemon we've taken in!
[As if to help him out, Veronika scoots into frame and gives a little chirp. She's here too!]
Irene and Bruno have been with us for awhile now and...we had no idea they'd make something like this. Katsuki shouldn't have a problem with it...most likely.

Thank you, Noctis. Would you recommend anyone in particular at POKEGO or will anyone do?
[He has no idea if there's egg experts or something to that effect.]
