Fortress of Meropide Mingle

As they start to enter the summer months, the cold waters of the harbor actually do a good job of keeping the place rather comfortable! It's a good thing too, as everyone is rather busy this month getting ready or celebrating Pride. Needless to say, this place will be decked out in even more lgbtaq+ decorations than usual.

[There's a lot of folks in the fortress taking part of the pride competition, as well as folks helping out people-- so consider this a catch all for all those related activities!]

[Jun was actually participating this year (albeit, in a duo performance), but that wasn't going to stop him from helping out others from participating. Not only has he been really encouraging about people signing up... but today, he's bringing out his collection of wigs, cosplay outfits, make up, and accessories to spread out among the tables of the cafeteria in hopes of helping people work on their styles]

Alright! I brought most of my collection from storage! If you find something that speaks to you, let me know! It's fine if it doesn't fit, we can find something similar I'm sure.

[Varian isn't taking part in the competition, he's here for moral support as usual. Plus he enjoys seeing his spouse in pretty dresses, sue him, he is but one deeply enamoured man. He's sitting nearby, watching with wonder at the collection Jun is bringing out. It's honestly pretty impressive. ]

I always forget how much you've got, My Love. Are you looking forward to your own performance this year? I'm so proud of you for taking it on.

[ He knows Jun's stage fright is a pretty sizeable hurdle in his life, so seeing him tackle it for the drag show this time really does fill his chest with such warmth. ]

Haha... yeah the collection did seem to grow a lot over the years. Cosplay does that.

I am, so long as I try not to think about the part that has me nervous! [A sheepish laugh] I'm... working on that. My goal is to actually finish a performance this year.

[Nope that's Hermes. That's Hermes trying to perfect the Crazy Eyebags look they're going for. And taking just about any opportunity to do it. They have ... pretty much drawn all over their eyes with purple eyeshadow.]

[August may be found in one of two places:

The first: literally anywhere. He doesn't spend a lot of time down here, so he. may have. kind of. gotten. lost? It happens, and his familiar isn't helpful because Julian gets confused down here too. So you might find one very tired and confused young man just looking around the area, lost as fuck.

The second: his workshop and the area around it. Because sure, you see, it's June! Pride! August does has some pride commissions to finish! You know what else he has to finish?

Cosplay. It's con season and he's a tailor. He's swamped. At some point, you will absolutely see him coming down the hall, arms full of fabric in a rush.]
