WHO: Izuku and you!
WHERE: Gemini
WHEN: 2/22
WHAT: An introduction!
WARNINGS: none that i know of! will update if that changes.
[the video opens on izuku sitting at an outdoor cafe table, with a cleffa asleep in his arms, a plusle on his shoulder, and a hawlucha wandering around behind him. he looks nervous, but excited.]
Hello! My name is Izuku Midoriya. I just got into town, and I thought I should introduce myself. I was wondering, if I could ask...
What activities would you all recommend to a first-timer to the city, to get to know the place?
[help. be his tour guide, guys.]

[not here]
Once again, he's looking around his surroundings with narrowing eyes.
Something is rotten in this city, and he's gonna find out what.]

If you have the time you should investigate Kami State Park. They recently were gifted with majestic creatures called Dromas. I think you would enjoy them.

[Look at him, taking a little notebook and a pen out. It's 2026, Izuku.]
What are those? [HE'S READY TO TAKE NOTES. watch him go.] Kami... state... park...

Would you two stop already?
[He's going to just barely manage to push his noibat and komory bat aside in order to blink at the screen.]
Oh. Hey, Midoriya. [At least now he's giving up and letting his bats crowd the screen to say hello.] -- wait, when did you get here??
[He knows he's been a little too busy to keep up regular correspondence, but it hasn't been that long, has it?]

Sekido-san! [his penpal! oh my god it feels so nice to refer to someone PROPERLY, it feels so weird here.] I just got into town. I've moved here to study under the local POKEGO branch!

Hmmm...
The city has an impressive library. However, if this is your first visit, I would also recommend the Pokemon Cafe.
[Especially since she can see that he has some kind of Pokemon with him.]
un: izooku; voice
The library... [he's writing things down!] ... and a Pokemon Ca--a Pokemon Cafe? Where is that?

[Such as, for example, how wonderfully weird people are, and how to lose your wallet, and (relatedly) how to need to go to the DMV on a friday afternoon. But those are details, don't worry about it.]
Second. If you leave this city without trying the pierogi, you will regret it. People will always be asking you about it, and you'll have to lie. It's an embarrassment. Third street diner has the best ones, but you gotta try a bunch so I can judge you when your favorite is from the wrong place.

Pierogi...? What are those?

I've really missed you.
I think we kind'a fell outta touch because you left the city...
But now that you're back I have a lot of stuff to catch up with you, with!! If--...if you remember me, that is.[ Right, it's possible this Midoriya isn't his, right? Just like how Bakugou didn't remember him... ]
un: izooku; text
Remember you..? Could I know your name? I've never been to the city until today, so it's a little bit confusing trying to sort through the usernames...

[One must always be polite!]
I have compiled a list of a few places I would recommend in the city depending on your personal interests. I've separated them as such and then categorized them by ticket price ranging from free entry to general admission. I've also separated out the places to eat, which has their own subsection of places who's main focus is alcoholic beverages. I did not want to assume your preferences on drinks.
[Sure enough, Izuku will be getting a list of places, in exactly that order. It's scrollable.]
...
I apologize if that is too comprehensive. If I had one recommendation, I would say Random Play is a wonderful place to stop at. They have every movie for rent you can imagine, and the store owner is a dear friend of mine.
If you would like a walk down memory lane to a time with VHS...that would be a good place to visit.
un: izooku; video
Oh, Izuku is fine! That's how it's done over here, anyway! [Mr. Midoriya is his father, you see.
[But then, Izuku is receiving a gift. A glorious, wonderfully-organized, annotated list. As he scans through it, he's looking more and more excited.]
What? No, not at all! I don't think there is anything such as too comprehensive. This is perfect! And you must have spent so much time on it, too... This is really impressive, sir!

[It's the kid he tutored in English online! Aw, he's gotten better at it, that's fantastic.]
That rather depends. I do know there are seminars at Kaisou U that's open to anyone willing to stop by.

Other than that... the Vogue's great if you've got any interest in theatre at all, Midtown Market's worth checking out, and it's probably a good idea to have a look around Blue Fish Park. Just, uh, watch out for the geese.
un: izooku; video
[But with that little selfish desire aired...]
This is the second time I've heard about Blue Fish Park, but the first I've heard of the geese... Are they mean?

They are Pokémon! The Cleffa and Plusle are new, but the Hawlucha has been with me since I was pretty young!

Name's Waver Velvet--you can call me Waver or Blackthorn. I'm co-admin at Cygnus Academy.
un: izooku; video
I think I've heard of Cygnus Academy. It's different from the university, right?

Welcome to Kaisou. My name is Dan Heng, or Maple if you prefer to use our code names.
Brick Alley and Shopping Street are good places to shop or eat out at. Kami State Park is also a beautiful place, but I recommend going with someone who can help you in combat. Part of it, if not all of it, is currently outside of the barrier. It's not safe to go by yourself. I have ownership of a cabin within the forest there that I visit semi-frequently, so I am happy to be available if you'd ever like to visit.
[Hm....]
There are also Spirit Realms that are relatively safe here. I recommend taking a friend with you into the Hyrule and Kanto Spirit Realms, though. Both can be dangerous if you're not careful, but they're also beautiful sights to see.
