[There's the fading hum of something electric as the video clicks on, showing an old man with impossibly long, shaggy white hair standing in the gentle light of a modestly decorated room.]
... I confess, I'm not the best at beginning statements meant for the masses. [Still, AZ tightens his hold on his cane, straightening up as much as he can, the camera wiggling a little higher to keep him centered in the frame.]
For those who do not know me, my name is AZ. I've lived in the city for a short while, now - [almost a year, you impossibly old man, that's not a "short while"] - though I have only been on this application for the past few months.
For a long time, I've done my best to provide beds for those who need them. Places to stay in at least moderate privacy. And while I've had a modest location in the city... I came across something the other day that appears to be... mine.
[He's not sure who else would have a hotel adapted to someone of his height and decorated with paintings of pokémon and lamp sconces in the style of his dear Floette, after all.]
Given the state our city is in and the efforts being put in by all, I would like to extend the help I might be able to offer.
If there are those looking for a place to lay their head for a night or two, if there are those who are in need of a hot meal and a chair to sink into, or if there are those in need of a place to gather and strategize -- then the doors of Hotel Z are open to you.
It's located near the harbor, which I understand contains another central meeting point in this city. And considering everything that has happened to our own - [And the work he's seen people putting in] - for the time being, do not concern yourself with recompence.
This is a time to come together as one.
In the fighting spirit of some old friends of mine; Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité.

[Should anyone be curious about the hotel itself, it's a modest little building tucked away in the business of the harbor. It's not wide, by any means, but does stretch up seven stories. The outside is covered in ivy, the inside quiet and cozy. Old, but in that well-loved way.
AZ spends most of his day, after making that announcement, in the chair behind the lobby counter, conversing quietly with the Rotom inhabiting his phone. His night will be spent in Flins' light house, as will most of his days after this announcement is made, but for today he will be here to greet anyone who comes by.]

[The phone was either floating or being held by someone else, because Viktor's hands are busy; one holding some metal in place against some mostly offscreen construct of black steel, the other directing the laser of a third arm strapped to his shoulder to act as a welding torch. Once whatever it was seemed firmly in place, the laser disengaged and he pushed thick goggles up onto his head.]
I imagine we may well need the space, either once the dust settles or even before then. Somewhere to organize or regroup, no?
