Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe that 2025 is already over? This year has really flown by! We hope you all had a wonderful year, and an even better 2026!

As for announcements, there aren't too many- so I'll try not to keep you too long! This month, Zodiac will be helping sponsor the annual Winter Carnival! As such, we hope you're willing to brave the cold and embrace the joys of winter! There will be the ice palace, a snowman building competition- and don't forget, the ever popular ice fishing tournament! I've heard the winner gets a cash prize and an all expenses-paid fishing weekend trip, so you don't want to miss that!

Besides that, the seers haven't detected any immediate dangers, though they keep giving us the weather forecast for Barcelona for some reason. I wish they'd stop, I don't like being reminded how much warmer and sunnier it is in Spain while I'm stuck here-- not that I mind the cold at all!

Oh, and one last thing- we want to remind you guys that the Zodiac job board is carefully vetted by Zodiac! As such, you can trust any jobs posted there can be trusted- especially since we've added a number of security features to screen job posers! However, not every job board in the city uses the same care and precaution- so be wary of that! If you care about your safety, go to Zodiac first!

[ Photos are fine. Photos are great, actually. Anaxagoras is thrilled by the apparent existence of these strange little cats. All Caleb receives in return, though, are numerous emojis of the 👍🐱 variety. ]

You'd probably love them! They're smart little guys who need like. Kid science projects to keep them occupied or they do things like try to build a fort out of all of your pillows and mattresses.

I worry an reasonable amount. Accidents can happen even if your intentions are pure.

The fact that they're able to hold things at all puts them a step beyond chimeras. The Grove's children are very close to my heart, but their quadrupedal forms leave much to be desired in fields of work beyond manual labor.

I see no reason to deny them an opportunity to learn what they can or cannot do. Alchemy may be a precise science, but surely not so precise that a creature without thumbs cannot participate.
