WHAT: Investigating and purifying the remains of the carnival
WARNINGS: Will add as needed! But there will be discussions of death.

[While there have been no official announcements, words of the Baron's carnival of death has been slowly getting around by word of mouth from the victims who went through the ordeal. While most wouldn't be blamed from wanting to stay far far away from El Nido for awhile, there was still the matter of what remains after the Baron's onslaught. And so, various folks, for their own reasons, have decided to investigate just that]

[ Oh, there's a familiar face... cloak! There's a wave back as her smile brightens just that little bit more, giving him another quick nod in response. ]

Mmhm, I'm a little worried about them considering what's happened.

[ Between the ones the Baron desperately tried to bring back and any previous victims... She doesn't expect the situation to be good. ]

I understand. Considering the situation, they may have undergone a lot of torment.

[Which Shroud certain feels for, though he's pretty limited in what he can do himself. Dealing with the dead wasn't his jurisdiction. Fortunately, there's others who can handle that. ]

Persephone is on her way to help move the souls onto the afterlife, but we'll let you talk to them first. Maybe you can learn more, or at least soothe their souls.

I'll do my best to soothe them and see what they can tell me. I don't expect them all to be fully coherent... But if I learn anything, I'll let you and Persephone know immediately.

[ Along with anyone else who may be joining their investigation; it seems like they aren't the only ones here. But that does make her worry about something else - ]

I should be able to sense any corruption as well, both in the spirits and in the area. I can help mark any dangerous areas so nobody else goes there.

That would be helpful. I'll try to purify things best I can, I'd rather avoid needing to purify people as well.
