Hey, guys~! I'm mid-stream right now, so apologies that I gotta make this short.

So the wind brought to me something interesting. Apparently, our dearest good boy, Lycaon, in his youth didn't know which mushrooms were actually edible and just... ate one. To find out. I'm certain you can connect the dots on what happened to our poor pup at the time~.

But the winds have wanted me to use this as an example of family secrets coming to light next month. Those secrets miiiiiight not be as harmless as finding out the hard way to not eat unidentified mushrooms. Considering the holiday next month... that feels about right.

Hi!! [March waves at the camera, clad in a purple coat and a blue dress, and beams brightly.] I've got two prophecies today! Well, really, I've just got one, but Mx. Pythia asked me to give their prophecy today too—I think something came up they had to attend to, they didn't tell me much. But anyway!

[She saunters over to her board, tugging down the cloth keeping it from view to reveal a video game screenshot of a blood-red moon surrounded by cute moon stickers. March coughs.]

Trance me speedran one of those really hard video games where you have to learn attack patterns and everything just to get to this part! And then when I snapped awake I, uh, got eaten by the boss. Whoops. [She rubs the back of her head, sheepishly.] I think she just wanted to get a snapshot of the blood moon, and since there's nothing like that right now...

[Well, needs must and all. She moves on to the next board, tugging the cloth on it off to reveal a board that's covered in pictures of beautiful, pretty crystals.

At the center of it is a poem by Pythia, that March helpfully reads out loud:]

I dunno what that part about a blackened rainbow means but I went out and photographed as many crystals as I could! And hey, at least I remember that.

This month, I've written down “Family secrets are like vampires. They never really die, and can always come back to bite you.” From Mercy: a Love Story, by Alberta J. McMorris. ...In other words, we seem to be in agreement.

[He's not very amused by his prophecy powers making him pick up a romance novel for this month's result, though.]

I assume there's going to be something about bears since I'm hearing some yelling about it.

...Anyway, with all the family secrets bullshit going on, I'm gonna say we have a quiet Thanksgiving and we avoid all the lunatics in this entire city.

Though guess it's time we keep a lookout for any one-eye'd bears. It doesn't sound like things will be too dangerous next month, but just in case.

And yeah I vote for a quiet Thanksgiving. I can cook for us.

... I have three this time, because August and Takame conveyed theirs to me to pass along for their own reasons. I'll start with theirs.

Takame's involved a red moon. I believe he was going to say more, but his phone seemed to have been confiscated before he could finish.

August had the Four of Wands, upright. [They tap the appropriate card.] He called it the weirdest, most normal reading he's ever gotten for November. "Basically holiday bullshit," he said, since the Four of Wands represents community, home, belonging, and support. Peace and rest, from one of the guidebooks of my own decks.

Lastly... mine, the Reversed Empress. [They pick up the card depicting Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra and hold it up.] This one generally means insecurity, lack of growth, overbearing tendencies, and disharmony... which, frankly, also feels appropriate for the holiday coming up, all things considered.

You know how there's paintings of feasts and stuff across history, right? A lot of the more recent ones are of Thanksgiving, because you can tell by the food arrangement, especially with the bird in the middle.

…I think my shadow is trying to be a turkey?? But it's weird, because I touched it earlier to make sure I wasn't seeing things, and it felt cold. Like it might have just come out of a freezer or something similar?

To add further context to my fellow seers' mention of crystals, I believe the ones most widely relevant are at least partially submerged, though I know not where. My vision was terribly... wet, after all.

Incidentally, tis getting colder. Be sure to warmly clothe yourselves and keep warm beverages nearby. I hear there are these lovely containers called "thermoses" that can keep liquids hot for hours.
