Hey! Hey!!!
[Don't mind the sound of little pitter-patters that echo right against the screen, as it's black, currently. There's the sound of a scurrying creature nearby, before the video picks up and shows a certain white-hairedpuppy man cradling what looks like a red little four legged critter in his arms. He readjusts the camera just as the little creature tries to bounce out of his arms again. Phainon grabs him, scrambling to not lose everything in his hands at once.]
Easy there, little guy!
Awooo!! Awooowooowoooooo~!
[The chimera kicks its feet in glee, happy to be given so much attention. Its tail swings back and forth excitedly, and it "bonps" its unbroken horn against Phainon's forehead. There's a startled noise from him, once again nearly dropping his phone, but he laughs all the same.
Another "awoooo" sounds, and a certain orange chimera pops his head over Phainon's shoulder and lets himself lie there while the Deliverer continues.]
So, I know someone asked me a while ago if a chimera was a Pokemon, and now I definitely have proof that they aren't. [He wiggles the little one in his hands, and the red chimera makes a delighted noise as a result.] They're showing up in pet stores now, and most of the time they'll have unique names. This one— [The red chimera awoos as Phainon holds onto him.] is Cranberry Muffin, and this one— [Phainon scratches the fluff of the chimera on his shoulder, the orange pet looking delighted.] is Fig Stew. You'll see some with Greek names, but a lot of the time, they'll have a food-related name.
Back in Amphoreus, chimeras were made to help people in their work, actually. They have some magic, but they're very good at doing menial tasks you ask them to do. Some of them were even arranged into teams with a leader in order to complete a larger job. You had chimera who would help clean rooms, settle arguments between people, or help unlock treasure chests that wouldn't open. Sometimes they'd even find children who ran off from their parents. They can make a lot of things easier for you if you ask them nicely.
[Cranberry Muffin wiggles and Fig Stew chirps, almost as if confirming what Phainon's said. The orange chimera rubs his head against Phainon's chin, and he laughs, amused.]
I have seen a few of these guys out in the wild, so just be kind to them in general. They'll be good to you too.

They're really easy to find, March! I've seen a ton in pet store front windows, alongside the cats and dogs, you know? Chimeras are really smart, and have their own language too. My friend Hyacine actually knew how to talk to them, because she was a part of the Twilight Courtyard and a healer.

What's a Twilight Courtyard?

Oh, that's one of the places that was in the Grove, in Amphoreus. Usually it was a place for healers and caretakers to reside, and help the scholars when they usually pushed themselves too hard or did something... not so smart.
[Yeah he may just be recalling Anaxa a little, here.]
Hyacine was really good at helping people like that— especially with her friend Ica.

Ah, I know a few people like that. [She's being very good and not calling out a good chunk of POKEGO here.] So it's...kind of like a clinic? Am I getting that right?
Ooh, this Hyacine and Ica sound like they were pretty good at their job, if she was able to talk these little guys. Just like me, but that's because of the bond between cute girls and cute creatures! [March says, not realizing that behind her is her Kubfu, Yanqing, frantically shaking his head at the camera.]

[Caleb turns around, clicking his tongue and then picking up the Creation that comes running first.]
The other babies.

So that's what they look like! March was telling me all about them, but apparently they all have different looks too, kind of like chimeras.
