Intro post!
WHO: Pepa Madrigal
WHERE: Labyrinth and then the city
WHEN: April 16th
WHAT: Another Madrigal appears!
WARNINGS: n/a
The Labyrinth:
[Pepa does not understand what's going on. The last thing she remembers is being surrounded by her family. Happy. Safe
And now she was huddled in an unfamiliar building while a hurricane raged outside the doors. She assumes it's her doing. The weather usually is. So she's frantically petting her hair as she murmurs to herself.]
Clear skies... clear skies... clear skies...
[Was her family here somewhere? She had to get this under control and find them.]
The City:
[Maybe someone finds her and helps her out. Or maybe she finally plucks up the courage to brave the hurricane and escape on her own looking for her family. Either way, Pepa is in the city now. With a phone and some instructions.
Soaking wet from a hurricane, shaken up from her ordeal and very lost.]
What is going on??

City | im ready.
[Dolores is not typically demonstrative, save for when she's finally reached the end of her rope, but oh it has been hard without either of her parents here. Even with Camilo and the rest of the family around it hasn't been the same. And she hadn't realised just how much she would miss them until she couldn't just go and find them whenever she wanted to.
So when she sees the unmistakable form of her mother, soaking wet and shaken and clearly newly arrived through some kind of labyrinth, she runs straight to her and throws her arms around her shoulders, bursting immediately into bittersweet tears.]
Mama!
Re: City | im ready.
[She is relieved to see one of her children and hugs her tightly back. Although she still doesn't know what's going on, het focus shifts from herself to her daughter.]
Are you okay? Were you hurt?

I'm fine, mama. [She pulls back just enough to see Pepa's face, managing a wobbly smile.]
I just missed you so much.
[Oh, there is going to be a lot to tell her...]

I was so worried. I thought you were all trapped in that awful place too. Have you seen anyone else? Your brothers? Your father? We have to find everyone...
no subject
But don't worry, I know where everyone is. [Ah, Camilo was always better at this than her.] They're all at the house, so we should go there, okay? I'll tell you as much as I can when you're dried off.
no subject
[But the house. Their Casita...]
We should regroup and find out what to do next. Then we can figure out how to find your Papi.
no subject
It's not going to get either of them anywhere if Pepa is just panicking.]
I'll take you home. There's a lot to explain, and some of it might be hard to understand. But... I've been here for a couple of months now.
