WHEN: while Jumanji's happening!
WHAT: Yasuho tries to take her crush on a date. March just thinks this is a fun platonic lunch with one of her best buddies.
WARNINGS: none.

[Hyrule is, as ever, a beautiful landscape, perfect for taking photos in. March gasps in awe, though, as she and Yasuho make their way up to a sky island with picnic supplies in hand, turning slowly around as she tries to take in the details. Her dress somehow looks as beautiful as ever despite the fact that she trudged through a lot of difficult terrain to get here, but then again she's gone through worse landscapes in nicer outfits than that. She's something of an expert.

Her tail flicks excitedly around as she turns to Yasuho, her smile big and brilliant. Her heart beats rapidly against her ribcage, but well, they did do a lot to get here! It's probably just the exertion.]

This is such a gorgeous place, Yasuho! When did you find out about it? It's so pretty, and perfect for taking pictures too!

[All but bouncing over to gesture to the view.]

Ah, look at this! It's perfect, you can't get views like this in the city even if you make like one of those rooftop cryptids and try to find the tallest place in town.

[One of the greatest things in favor of keeping something like this, this picnic, this island, and all the travel to get there, is advance planning. All she needed was to make sure they had a good, solid ride up into the clouds and it would be fine. It could be considered 'a bit much'- if Yasuho thinks about it, she never officially asked March to be her girlfriend, even if she's pretty sure they've had some kind of date already. But she prepared anyway- and for that matter, March agreed to come.

That probably means she realized what it is, right? In Yasuho's (extremely biased) opinion, March more than dressed for it too- the dress suits her, brilliantly, a gently glistening rainbow beneath a pleasant sun. Yasuho herself tried to dress for the occasion as well- how could she not, for something this important?- but, in an again biased opinion, her own sundress can't possibly compare.

Watching March's reaction makes all the prepwork- finding an island with a good view, making sure a zoanite machine could actually get them there without strain- that much more worth it though. A flushed smile on her face, her own tail swishes in time with the shudder of her wings.]

Mmhnhnhn- What Hyrule lacks in shopping, it definitely makes up for in scenery, right? It's going to be a lot of work mapping these islands...but finding one like this was definitely well worth it! There aren't even any constructs to worry about!

[Just them, the sparrows, and the sundelions...and plenty of space for a picnic blanket.]

Yeah, the scenery is so beautiful. I should stop by when it's sunset, take pictures of the Hyrule sky then. I betcha it'd look so good when framed.

[Constructs? She blinks in surprise, then glances around as if worried one might pop out of the ground anyway. Look, she's had trouble with automatons and constructs before ambushing her and her friends, it's a recurring problem when you're a Nameless.]

Constructs? Why would there be constructs up here? Seems like it might be hard to get something big up here. [She's just going to lay out the picnic blanket now, smoothing down the edges.] But ahh, this is so nice. I thought about inviting a few friends along, but, well, they're all busy. [That, and March didn't really feel like sharing this time with anyone but Yasuho. This feels...special, in a way she can't quite qualify.]

What's that flower? I don't think I've seen anything like it before. [Nodding to a sundelion nearby.]

[With half the point of a date being to simply enjoy time with the other- not to mention, the fact that both of them have an appreciation for the unknown surroundings- Yasuho's far from in any rush to get the food out on a blanket while they're up here.

They're up here, after all, so they can enjoy it while it's bright and sunny out.]

Oh- that's something I'm not really sure of...

[As she admits that fact, she scans the horizon for one of the larger islands. From here, most look more akin to shadows of gray, shrouded by distance.] ...Some of these islands are pretty big. There's ruins on them, and even what could be shrines! ...Though, they've got a completely different aesthetic... ...very...zen garden marble, [she mutters, thinking of the last one she saw.]

...But they all had these weird zoanite 'robots'. A few have been helpful...actually, I might have asked one for some advice finding a safe island, [the woman admits with a cough.] ...But most of them have weapons and are very 'attack on sight'. They were probably supposed to protect these places, so I feel a little bad about them...

I'd say they aren't too big, but... ...I'm not sure that actually matters. I think they were built in the sky to begin with.

[Plus, she'd have to swallow her words the first time she saw a Big One.

Digressing, though.] Uh-

[IN...INVITING OTHERS...

....for some reason she thinks of the fireflies....] Th-thank you for thinking of that..! I'm not really sure what I would have done if it wasn't just us...

[Die, Probably!]

Oh!! But, that's a 'sundelion'! [Quiet alarm banished, she hurries over to stoop next to the flower.] They're really useful to the current Black Order people apparently...something about their properties when they're cooked or brewed. They're actually really common up here- I've been making note of the islands they're on, and it's almost all of them so far. ...Even if it's sometimes just one or two.

They're really uplifting though, don't you think? Something about their smell...

[Literally smell and taste the sun...]

Built in the sky? Ooh. This place doesn't seem the type to be able to build these things in the sky, at least not at first sight alone, but...well, it is magic. [The thing about being a Nameless is that March has heard of stranger things, so she's not surprised to hear this lore drop. She does pause a moment, before holding up a finger.] Next time, I wanna go in one of the shrines. If it's got an automaton guard, pfft, getting past it should be easy! We had to fight Aurumatons once—um, big robot guards from a spaceship so big it was basically a world in itself.

[Oh, she's too cocky for her own good. But she hums, and smiles.]

Eh, well, good thing it's just us! I didn't bring enough food to cover more than two people. [Which is all but an admission that March really did not want anyone else to come with her on this but Yasuho. But hey, that's a normal thing, right? Sometimes you just want to hang out with one friend and eat lunch with her and hang out on a sky island with her! Totally just best friend things.

March comes over as well, scooting a little closer on her butt to peer at the flower.]

Ah, they smell so good and look so pretty... [A silence. Then March hums.] D'you think the Black Order will mind if we picked this one? I can do your hair and plait a sundelion into it, you'd look adorable with a flower like this.

Magic is about where I've been assuming things came from at this point...deliberate magic, but still magic. There's no way there would be moving islands otherwise...

[...Which, maybe she should consider that one for an evening trip. It would be quite the sight, the 'stars' inside the sphere.

Not really the best set up for a daytime picnic though- and, though initially thrown by March's admission, Yasuho muffles a laugh behind her hand.] Definitely good! Ah...

[She was about to say 'it should be fine'. The flowers do smell pretty after all- and honestly, they're gorgeous. But her brain trips over the rest of March's words, and she stammers her reply.]

I- I-

I wouldn't mind at all- I mean, I don't think the Order would mind- Uh-

[A cough.] It's just one flower after all..! A...and that would be nice...yeah...
