I'm seeing Double
WHO: Wolfwood, Vash the Stampede, and Lighter Lorenz
WHERE: In a nice sit-down restaurant in Kaisou, some jungle theme restaurant
WHEN: Late June
WHAT: Vash bought a date voucher that included a chaperone--while anyone else would see this as awkward, vash has seen it as a bonus as they get to make a new friend.
WARNINGS: Idiocy abound.
[ it'll be around 1pm in the afternoon when Wolfwood will get a text from Vash. It's in his usual, excitable text that's badly spelled due to his inability to type with both hands--but wolfwood should be used to this by now.
he's just leaving the gacha goodwill with a neat voucher in hand, the sketchy guy who ran the place saying something like --"don't worry about it, I'll have the other party called and sent to the location the ticket says. Enjoy your dinner."
This sounded fine to the humanoid typhoon. It'd sound insane to anyone else. ]
yah i hav about 3hr before my shift @ the vogue n u said u had some courier job w/dantes brother around that same time yeah
lets get lunch while we're both in the city then!!!! my treat
i got a cool voucher from the goodwill that says we'll get free appetizers w/it?
its gonna be in a Rainforest Cafe too, those places always look so fun u kno

he's delighted though--that wolfwood isn't arguing and is coming along without much need for the Stampede to beg him to come--he'll just leave out that there's gonna be a third wheel to lunch because that's a surprise and like, also, it's not even a huge deal. making new friends is great?? wolfwood won't mind at all, he's sure of it.
vash is gonna send him along a string of texts that's mostly just annoying emoji as he himself hops to it, the fastest man on two legs walking a brisk pace to the destined place. Opening the door to the outside of the store, it looks normal enough, but once inside--good lord it really is like the pictures out of Kni's book!? there's even moving animitronics and--
His eyes gaze out over the seating area, trying to find out where this 'chaperone' might be-- "it'll be clearly marked with a rainbow flag", the goodwill shopkeeper said.
And it is, a big one, right in the center of one of the tables, but--there's already someone sitting there. He's going to make his way over, pausing for a moment.
Oh, what the hell, did Wolfwood get here first? the sunglasses wearing man isn't looking up at him--assumedly looking at the menu or his phone or his nails or something, he can't see the full frame of his face but that's pretty unmistakably wolfwood!
he's gonna dash in and go to grab him in a hug--only to stop short with his arms in the air, frozen, as he... gets a weird sense, here. ]
