March is determined to help him do this, of course! She's a Nameless of the Astral Express even here and now, she's never not willing to help out. The money is a nice incentive, though. She brings her camera along with her, on the faint chance that maybe her seer abilities will actually materially help her this once.

Perhaps the worst possible hurdle to get over with the water is the fact that Yasuho couldn't get wet. Or, she could get wet, but only if everyone wanted to deal with a massive fish tail on her part.

So, with quiet care assisted by gentle water magic to keep things nice and muted, they're making good progress toward the distant lights. Easy. Perfect. It's-

"...No." That wasn't a 'no I didn't', as everyone can definitely figure out. "...No, aren't those things diurnal, it's the middle of the night..!" Yasuho hisses.

"What's a diurnal?" March asks, blissfully ignorant of the coming horror. Mostly she's looking at Yasuho and thinking idly about how cute she looks right now. One hand absently reaches up to tuck some hair behind a slightly reddish ear.

Then she pauses, cocks her head to the side.

"What's all that honking about?" she asks.

On the one hand, Ritsuka had better than average night vision thanks to her monster traits, so the darkness wouldn't entirely hide March's awkwardness. But on the other hand, her attention was fully focused on the lake just now, looking for the source of the sound.

"Something that's only awake during the day," she said absently. There were few things that sent chills down her spine, but those geese were undoubtedly one of them.

"And it sounds like one of the geese. They're uh. We need to get moving. Fast."

Ah, excellent, Ritsuka's got that covered. Honestly if her vision was better at night she'd probably be doing much the same as March, but in reverse. Unfortunately, she can barely see shit, and also the fear of geese is universal.

Swallowing a wave of panic- she so doesn't want to ruin the stockings she has on today- Yasuho waves a hand over the water. "I can try to get us moving a little more, but I really don't have that much going for me here..."

Also- "Do we have the nets ready..??"

March might not have fought geese before, but she's a Trailblazer. She's more than once had to run from things screaming at her, so she squints at the geese and then goes a little pale herself.

"Uhhhhh." She didn't even bring her bow with her! She can't fire an arrow and freeze them all while they get away! "Did—Did anyone bring a bow with them? If not I can, uh, row us back to shore really fast—"

"I don't have a bow or anything, no."

Usually if she needed a ranged attack she just used her lightning.

"And I mean I can teleport us, but I don't know if I can bring the whole boat too...."

And she'd really rather not leave it drifting in the lake, that seemed rude. And Ritsuka just wasn't the type to abandon someone else's property like that.

"Ugggggghhh..."

Groaning into her hands, Yasuho sighs, and starts...taking off her stockings??

"You guys get these ones I'll... ughhhh I'll be back..."

And then with a flicker of light speed to help her shuffle along, oop, she's In The Water!
