Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of the libraries in this city? Especially ones that have sections on language learning?

The university also has a library where you can sign up for like... digital lessons? You just drop by and listen in to them on your own time. I've been doing that to learn Japanese to talk to Jun in it. They're really easy! Especially if you're uh... not sure great with computers.

Digital lessons? You just listen to them? I'm not sure I follow, but I've been told I give off "Victorian Martian vibes," apparently.

Yeah! You have a little headset and you can listen to them- the words come on the screen to help you read them as you repeat them.

Trust me, I'm from the actual 1840s, I understand only too well what that's like. But these are really easy to use!

Can't be harder than learning how to use the phone. I'll be looking into these lessons, then.

Exactly! It's way easier than the phone. There's still stuff about the phone I don't get and at this point I'm not sure I ever will.

What language are you learning, our of curiosity?

It's extremely handy, but I don't like a lot of the apparent implications of using it, either...

Portuguese. My roommate speaks it. Something in the city gave me... a little knowledge about it, but now I think I have to actually learn.

How good are you at flying or climbing trees?

Flying, I haven't fully figured out in this world. Climbing trees, I've been doing as long as I could walk.

There's a library in the university, but the location has shifted from where it used to be located.

If you're that skilled at tree climbing, it should be no problem for you to get up there and check something out. Depending on the language you want, most of it will be located in the northeast direction from the door.

Fair enough. I guess trees don't grow under whole buildings for no reason, but I don't see why they should tell us anything.

Is the rest of the university also in a tree now, or is it just the library?

Most of it resides in the tree. Should you find you want to explore the campus, I would suggest you exercise caution around particular branches.

It shouldn't be dangerous, but what a person can accomplish will surprise you.
