PROPHECIES OF TIDINGS OF GOOD CHEER
WHO: Cotton, the Seers, and You!
WHERE: Libra, because Grandma
WHEN: Mid-late month, with time to spare for Thanksgiving rush...Maybe.
WHAT: A series of prophecies brought to you by Cotton's Kitchen
WARNINGS: None but you may want gingerbread now
[Video - UN: CamCotton]
[At some ungodly hour- well maybe not UNgodly, it's 6AM- wee old Cotton has turned on her phone camera. She's got a decent amount of skill on that end all things considered- she's completely on screen! ...And baking?
She is baking.]
Hohohoh..! [A wave from the counter of her worn, but no less cared for kitchen.] Good morning everyone, I do apologize for the hour but I need to make sure not to miss clocking in for the day I fear, and I couldn't leave everyone waiting until evening, that would be terrible..!
Oh, but I needed to finish these on time as well, so I'm afraid we'll be multitasking a little bit...
Now, everyone seemed quite stressed still from what happened recently,
[you know the thing where cotton lost half her memories and it made a huge tower room full of tears. that thing,]
So I thought I would handle filling everyone in on what seems to be on the table this coming month. The Zodiac seer department hasn't been near so fun, I have to say, hohohoh!
Now, first of all a lovely young lady named Bailey shared a tarot card, the star- such a beautiful card, they're quite intricately designed those things...! Oh- but to the point, I believe her little guidebook said 'hope, inspiration, creativity'...'calm, contentment, renewal, serenity, spirituality'... ...Oh, and healing and positivity.
...Oh, goodness and it was upright of course I think that might be a little vital...
[Excuse her she's starting to roll the dough.] I'm afraid I was a little confused with our next one however, I did try to understand but I suppose he simply sees...screens everywhere? [???] It felt to me like another day in the office but he assured me that it's quite different and I'll have to take his word on it! But apparently these screens were absolutely covered in Christmas lights!
[There's a bit of a gesture with the rolling pin as she says that last bit, before it's set aside in the sink. Cookie cutter time!] I do suspect we have a very clear theme if I'm to be honest. That wonderful skeleton fellow had such a description of a Christmas tree, hohoho! I believe the exact words were...
[She pauses mid cookie-cutting, lowering her voice to a dramatic rasp.] AN INSURMOUNTABLE AMOUNT OF TRIBUTE TO FATHER CHRISTMAS BENEATH AN ORNAMENTED TREE...
[...And it's gone!] Hohoho..! Isn't that delightful? Now my coworker heard a rather dramatic form of Carol of the Bells so it could be that there might be a bit of a kerfuffle yet to come, but I do expect we're in for good tidings. I have a number of photos to share from the others, but there were a few others passed by word, if you could bear with me for a short moment...
[The oven creaks open, and the cookies she's been setting on the pan are soon set inside to bake.]
Phew. Now, Ghilley dear, I did try to remember everything you said, but I don't believe I'll be able to carry the same passion... [Lamenting aside as she washes her hands, she's clearly trying though.] But the...'ghost in his teeth'- can you really not get a dentist of some sort for that? Oh...- well, the 'ghost' shared a vision of plastic men fighting a brutal battle with..jackets and muskets, and black hats..!
[Sploosh! Whoops.] Oh, dear, we can't get this wet, no-
[It's fine the phone just fell flat on the counter. There's the sounds of her puttering about to dry her hands, and then it's being picked up and given a rather awkward view of the living area just in front of the kitchen in her little house.]
Now from...I think Wolfwood is his name? Oh, I do apologize if I haven't gotten it properly...Well, from Wolfwood, I don't think he was entirely certain about his, he described 'striped hook sticks', which I think would be candy canes, hopping about, but he also mentioned an eye twitch... ...perhaps I should recommend an optometrist...
[It's fine. The camera moves to a little display on a table! Knit snow piles, little knit figures with snow in their hands, tiny knit snowballs!]
Hohohooo and here's mine..! I think it'll be an adorable display for the holiday, don't you? It's a little snowball fight! Everything else I've worked on I planned well in advance for the holidays, so I don't doubt this is the one!
Those photos though, let me see...
[The camera has a fairly strange view of the floor, table, and a bit of armchair for a bit, and then abruptly changes over to a photo of flour. Flour in shapes.
Shapes of...Rats. In tutus. In the flour.] Ah, there we are- this is the photo I was sent from 'silhouetto', which I assume means this is what happened. I think it likely speaks for itself, though I am less certain about...this other set that was sent, here we are.
[New photo! Photos? It's a photoset, largely of re-enactment folks in 1770s red coats. They're framed cutely with christmas decorations.]
...I'm a little worried about that girl admittedly, that seems quite the dangerous place to be taking these kinds of shots...But with that, there were only two others, which is why I'm pulling a few things together now!
[It's back to Grandma! The cookies are obviously not going to be done yet, that'd be ridiculous, but she is preparing some seasonal tins and wax paper. And hot cocoa packets.] First, a rather forlorn young man told me he saw a large hot chocolate, and I had the impression it was a rather troubling thing, so I thought I might put something together for them...
And as for the final one..!
[She hobbles over to check on the oven, briefly opening it to apparently bring out the smell of those gingerbread cookies.
wait] The smell of gingerbread! I do apologize for the timing of that for you, but I hope that a fresh tin can make up for it now Venti- oh, saying that aloud I can't help but think of those coffees is that why...
Well, I'm preparing a tin for you! And if anyone else would like one, I'm more than happy to bake others, hohoho! It seems to be a good month coming up after all~!

[grumbling:] If your immersion gets ruined just because I wander right in with my camera, maybe you’re just not open-minded enough, ugh.

... [sighs] I see that I'll have a new project for Blade.

[There's no blame here, only concern! While everyone shouts 'leash', Cotton is probably shouting 'armor'.]

[Give her a second to rack her memory.]
Apparently, [doing an awful British accent] “tiny pink-haired girls with cameras aren’t historically accurate”.

Should be! It is the holiday season, after all. Judging from these prophecies, I’d expect a significantly more relaxing month than the past one.

Unfortunately, I stop believing in coincidence in around the ninth or tenth time a single card manages to turn up in all of my tarot readings.

So you're one of these seers, are you?

A few moments of silence, before a quiet "oof," apparently at what she's reading.]
... Yeah, I'd say so. "Hopelessness, despair, focusing on the negative, lack of faith, lack of inspiration, lack of creativity, boredom, and monotony" is what it says.
