The chime will sound even if you have your phone turned off or on silent, and will not stop until you read their messsage and comment to it.]

Happy Halloween, to all the ghouls and goblins out there! We hope you're having a fantastic spooky holiday!
In other news, Zodiac is aware of that there is concern of a Spirit Realm related event similar to last year, and we're currently doing our best to monitor the situation. While we wish to avoid a panic, we'll be doing our best to be prepared. In the event of an emergency, we will be doing our best to fortify Undertown and Cathedral Hill. Barrier spells are also available at our office, should you wish to invest some for your own peace of mind.
That said, we haven't detected any of the yokai from last year in the city, so we are hoping it won't be a repeat of last year. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best- we like to say!

"Do you have one of those rings that lets you eat rocks? Because maybe that could work, if nothing else..."

Eating magic rocks was probably a bad idea. No matter how much one might wonder what they tasted like.
"... Though, those rings are pretty fun, maybe you should get one anyway if the store has any more!"

"...Hm. Eating rocks ... maybe it could be funny. But at the same time, I'd be nervous about hurting my teeth, you know?"

And don't mind as she just kind of. set the phone down on the nearest surface as she went to go rummaging through her stuff for something. At some point the view of the ceiling was interrupted by the face of her leafeon peering curiously at the screen, which then hurried away when Ritsuka came back.
"I tested it out on one of the watermelon rocks!"
And here she triumphantly held up, yep, that sure was one of the rocks from the Goodwill. With a clear bite taken out of it.

Alright, he can't help but to laugh, despite how freaked out and uncomfortable he feels currently.
"Well? Did it taste like a watermelon? Or just a rock? The people have to know."
His voice titters with a little laugh.
"--But seriously. Don't try to eat the rock on my hand.
Another little bird uh. Just told me it wasn't a rock."
