[It is a beautiful day in Kaisou, and you are a bored raccoon.

Caleb's in the study room at the PICHU Center, ostensibly to do some paperwork but he finished that already and is just sitting around, bored. He couldn't even really tell you how exactly the next ten minutes played out; it started with him pulling his new ARCUS out to poke at it, that much he knows. Jun was there, doing something with his sword and laying all the gems out. Caleb asked if he could try them out.

The next thing he knew his ARCUS was making a very concerning noise and there was light coming from it that was getting brighter and he had three seconds to remember what people yell when they're setting off an explosion as he chucks his grenade-ARCUS out the window:]

Fire in the hole!

[He's not quite fast enough to avoid all damage, as the exploding ARCUS...well, explodes and sends bits flying. Oops?]

[Noctis looks out the window, still half-expecting to have to warp-strike something and in fact already preparing to do so. Then he pauses and stares at the smoldering ruins of an ARCUS, then at Caleb, then at the wrecked ARCUS again. The Engine Blade disappears in a flash of blue light.]

Caleb. [Oh no it’s Regis’s Disappointed Tone.] What the fuck did you do.
