Made a fascinating little find here. It took me a couple of days to confirm, but if you've seen new and interesting rings like these pop up in a jewelry store, I think they might be something from my past life.

[There's a pause.]

... If you get the chance to pick one up, you should. They're useful. They improve your reflexes a little if you wear one. Makes dodging things a little easier.

[And, well, it's a little evident why that might be important at a time like this. There's another pause.]

It's no problem. I like helping out where I can. [There's a tilt of the head with a considering noise at the question.] It'll definitely happen sometimes, but normally, stuff like this tends to pop up at specialty shops in my experience. Rings like these at an ordinary jewelry store... definitely took me off guard.

I wonder if it would stack with a boost from something else. I find it a little easier to dodge blows when I have my ARCUS, but if only one works at a time I'm probably better buying the ring as a gift for someone...

If I'm remembering right, the boost from the ring wouldn't stack from multiple rings, but improvements from other sources should be fine.
