I'd ask if this was an app dedicated to classical masterpieces, but it doesn't quite look it. I was trying to find some other concerto pieces to study, but I don't think that's something I'll get from this place. Of course, the app won't delete despite my best efforts, and now I'm here.

I suppose I could ask a question, at least. Is there any kind of music that's your favorite? A song, a genre, a performance, perhaps? There really isn't any wrong answer, I'm mostly just curious.

Oh, I'm familiar with those- they made a great impact on modern music and left quite a lot of influence on how rock as a whole changed both in composition and recording.

It seems to be something common among everyone, I'm discovering.

I'm assuming this is more electronic, correct? I know a decent amount about it- some music came from actual classical works, transitioned into a faster tempo and a deeper bass line. It's fascinating as a whole.

I think I already told you about my love of pretty much all Broadway musicals, so if I pick a classical piece it's probably Chopin's Winter Wind. Or I guess I can call it Étude Op. 25, No. 11 since you know more about classical music than I do.

It's been a long time since I'd practiced that, but I do recall trying to emulate it on the violin after some time. Chopin creates a bunch of musical experiences that vary between moods, and each one I tend to find both a challenge and also something new to try.

That certainly wasn't a piece I was expecting, but I can see the merit in it. The chords are actually relatively simple, and make the melody "catchy," so to speak.

But it's always nice to hear from someone that's into music! If you want some concerto pieces to study, I can always send some of the pieces I have saved for my students.

I can completely understand that. Some days speak more towards Tchaikovsky, others are towards Brahms. It's difficult to decide on one specific composition.

I tend to practice quite a bit on my own, so I'll keep that in mind for the future. Thank you, I do appreciate it.

I've heard about them and was always curious- I've been told by some that game soundtracks are some of the most incredible works put out by composers.
