Still not dead, the post's just late because I decided to take a few extra days off.

A bit of laughter helps with that at least.] Pffhfhf...Would you believe it if I said I've gotten better at not doing that since moving out from my mom's? I never realized how much of our meals were frozen until then... A friend though- Shio- his family runs a place, so I've picked up a few things here and there. I'm actually really good at cooking fish now!

Floral cupcakes.... [Trying to imagine it brings a smile to her face. She can't help but wonder the same thing Faye is.] We definitely need to poke around to find some new places once things have settled down here...

[Ah, right, her order- It's their turn, so...

She'll just get their melon boba. Why not!]

Whatever you get, definitely go for something that uses fruit- it's their specialty for a reason.

Mm, I think I could probably believe that. Sometimes moving out on your own changes a lot of things. I ended up buying a lot of things I didn't really need to cook, so other than dinner it was quick sorts of meals.

[Lots of vegetables and fruit... what various things she could do to ensure she ate properly, with an occasional visit to cute little cafes. For being as busy as uni made her, she'd at least done well enough for herself.]

At least we're back in the same place, so we can actually visit the places we both find.

[In the beginning of uni, there had been a lot of shared pictures of places across the sea. Someday she did want to take Yasuho to some of the places she found in France, but this was good for now!

As for an order -- melon with strawberry popping boba sounded quite nice.]

Most of the time I prefer fruit flavors in cold drinks, and you definitely made me curious about their melon drinks in particular.

It's been a really big learning experience...worth it though- I can't count the number of times my mom filled the freezer with nothing but oven pizzas...

I have so many recommendations stored up now though...Including some that aren't completely mundane- like the spa in Hyrule~

[That's a later thing though.

The boba don't take long for them to get, and once it's in hand, they can head on downstairs and out that door at least.]

It's still kind of cold at least...just not really an ice cold, you know? [Not lukewarm either mind you, that would be. Kinda gross. But just kinda...'cool'.

Good for the temperatures outside, anyway.]

It's definitely their big sell after all- and I'm not really sure apple or grape work as well in these...

[Her hooves clack against the ground as they walk, Yasuho easily leading the other down the street.] I don't quite live downtown, but I'm not far from here, so it's been nice. Was it far for you?

Going from family meals to figuring out what to cook for myself was a pretty big learning experience for me, so I can imagine how that was.

[This was the second time she'd heard someone mention Hyrule... she would have to take a look around when she visited there. For now, she would follow Yasuho back outside and think about exploring a little later.]

Ice cold when it's warm out isn't really ideal anyway, so I think this is perfect.

[She'd made the mistake once or twice of having ice cold water.. though never quite enough for it to be serious.

She hums a moment in consideration, taking a sip of her drink as she walks.]

I don't know about grape, but at least apple could go well in a smoothie. Might be worth looking into sometime.

[She hadn't really had much boba, but she had seen people mention boba in some very unique smoothies before. It had sounded pretty delightful.]

I'm not too far from here, just in almost the complete opposite direction.

Exactly..~ [They get each other. Perfectly.]

Huhh....I guess I'd have to try something with apple if I see it... ...Opposite direction though, ugh- I guess that doesn't necessarily mean you're that far from where I live now though...

[They turn down one of those quiet, 'not quite' downtown streets- the sort that has proper houses amid the occasional apartment complex. As they approach Yasuho's, the first thing that can be seen is a large pink VW though. The house takes a minute to spot- they'll have to get right to the driveway pretty well.

It's a tiny home. It almost looks more like a trailer! (Except are those lawn chairs on the roof??) ]

Apple does tend to be used more as a base to make all the other flavors fit well together, but it could be fun to find one where it's a more prominent flavor.

[Apple cider was always rather pleasant, so surely there would be something!]

Maybe just a bit of a walk from my apartment to your place, but that's not so bad!

[She got fairly used to doing a lot of walking in uni. Honestly she kind of missed how little you needed a car back in France. Or at least she hadn't needed one.

Even if she wasn't certain it was their destination, that pink VW practically screams Yasuho, and she's quite pleased she was right about that when they arrive at the tiny house itself. Her expression has lit up quite brightly.]

That car is very you, and honestly the rest of the place is so far, too.

[A little pause.]

So you spend a bit of time up on the roof, huh?

[She certainly wasn't one to judge, considering she often enjoyed rooftop views.]

I really need to return those flamingos though...

[Ahem, ahem-] But thanks! ...Honestly it's a little scary how well it all lined up, all I did was go by that weird goodwill...

...The roof is pretty nice though! It's actually a proper porch, I can show you after you've seen the rest of the place, [Yasuho explains, heading up to the door. There are already two sets of curious translucent eyes peering from under the couch.] ...But honestly that shouldn't take long. It's pretty sm-
