WHO: Everyone!
WHERE: Libra App
WHEN: May 18th
WHAT: Zodiac Network Post
WARNINGS: None!
[We've reached the middle of May. The Dark Hour ended, with Douman and Dickson now permanently out of the picture. The post begins like the previous one had, with notifications of peoples coming and goings]
Danielle, Vivian, Bailey, Faye, and Alex has joined the app. Say hi everyone!
[The post then continues on as normal.]
Hello. Thank you for using the Libra App.
Still not dead, the post's just late because I decided to take a few extra days off.
I'm supposed to advertise that new paid subscription. Blah blah, pay a stupid amount of money for services that should be free. Shittification is real. Sign up now.
Also I don't want to ask this, but my coworkers are getting annoying about this- so are you guys all okay? There was some weird posts on the network and two more Black Order members have gone MIA. Something went down, didn't it?
You know what, forget I asked. I'm done.

This post is sponsored by Big Bang Burger. Take the Big Bang Burger challenge today!
[Users will have the option to choose their own display names and user pics if they haven't already. If nothing is chosen, the app will use their real name and a quick photo taken of them from their camera's phone. Like always, there'll be no responses from Zodiac. And as always, feel free to keep backtagging the event logs! ]

Leon pushes through the door. His own style is a lot darker than he used to go for, a dark blue shirt over dark work pants and a black leather jacket with holes cut out to make space for the wings, and over his shoulder is a camera bag. Behind him is a very good boy trotting along, having a good time.
He's still got the stupid boy band haircut, though.]
...Faye? [Welp now he knows what it felt like to have been in Ada's shoes in a past life. And it fuckin sucks.
Zero, the dog, is only stopped from coming up to Faye by his leash. But he gives an inquisitive whimper anyway, as if wondering who this new person is.]

Leon!
[She wastes absolutely no time setting down her tea and standing. Once becoming comfortable with her new family, Faye had always been fond of her older brother. Most of her fondest childhood memories had been the times when she'd followed him around. Faye had never had a family before, and all she had wanted was to be around them.
Her eyes first shift briefly to the dog -- not concerned at all, Leon was the one to bring it after all -- then to the wings. She doesn't seem fazed at all by something so abnormal.. in fact she's rather curious. But her eyes return rather quickly back to Leon.
It doesn't take much time at all to close the distance between them, and Faye has her arms wrapped tightly around him -- exactly like when she had been a preteen... a teen... back when life had been rather normal for them.]
I've missed you.
[The admission is quiet, slightly muffled against him. Faye knew there was a lot more to them being separated for so long, and even Leon had stopped receiving letters from her over the past year. The last had a couple of marks, as if she'd dropped her pen multiple times.]

He hugs her back, and the wings mantle gently around her as the dog sniffs at her knee. Even now, his eyes flick around their surroundings, and the worry that someone from the Order who isn't on their side might see this, might decide to go after Faye because she happens to be someone he cares for, someone he loves.
He still remembers the marks on that last letter.]
I missed you too, kiddo. C'mon, you want a cheese roll? [Zero whines, wanting attention, and Leon reaches down to pet him on the head.] This is Zero, by the way. He's, uh.
[Hm.]
It's a long story, but he's a good boy who saved my life once, in a world long-dead.

Will I be 'kiddo' all the way into my thirties?
[It's absolutely a tease, and not something she minds even at 21, given the way her smile reaches her eyes so easily. Perhaps in a more private setting they could talk about the more serious things that have been happening in their lives, but for now.. for now, Faye is content to act like nothing strange actually happened to her.]
Still, I won't say no to a cheese roll.
[Attention directed to Zero, Faye holds out her hand for a moment to allow him to sniff, before she actually pets him. She's met plenty of dogs over the years, but with what Leon told her... this one is exceptionally special.]
If he saved your life, even.. in another world, then that makes him a hero, to me. One that deserves as much attention as he wants.
[The 'other world' thing would take a lot of getting used to. Still, she has no reason not to believe him.]

[Just ruffling her hair now! Huh, did she dye it? Whatever, it's fine, he's got the longer explanation to make for the angel wings and the single-glove look and the six years of only letters and postcards. In the meantime, Zero gives the happiest little whine and pushes his nose into her hand. Yes, good, give him attention and pets.]
He's the best boy. [He passes her Zero's leash for the moment, because hey, Zero clearly likes her well enough.] I'll go order us some cheese rolls, then, and you can ask me whatever you want once we're settled.
[He does hesitate a moment, wings fluttering in slight agitation.]
Like I said, there's a lot to catch you up on. Some of the more recent events—if I tell you anything more than the vaguest of details, it might put you in danger. Might put Mom and Dad in danger if you told them, too.

[The laugh from before is in her voice, and really it was true. Leon could get away with a lot of things nobody else could. Even after six years of nothing but letters. Teasing was just something families did, right?
She only somewhat smooths her hair down after the ruffling, before her odd new sunrise-like eyes turn toward Zero instead -- before she accepts the leash handed to her. She's scratching around the base of Zero's ears with care when he hesitates... and says a little more. Their parents... she would never forgive herself if something happened to them.]
I know that you won't like it... but I'm not afraid of being the one in danger. I... probably have some explaining to do, myself... but I can at least promise that our parents won't hear any of it from me.
no subject
You're right, I don't like it.
[Baby sister isn't supposed to be in danger! The whole point of Leon joining the Black Order was to keep their eyes off his loved ones, and yet here's Faye anyway. It scares him, so much so that he has to shove his hands into his pockets so she doesn't catch them shaking. He can take whatever the Order wants to do to him for his joining Jusis and the rest of the Kaisou team in their rebellion—but if they hurt his sister...
He manages a smile, anyway.]
Okay. Good. [They probably wouldn't believe either of them anyway. He hates to split now to order cheese rolls, but he does have to step back and toward the line.] We both have a hell of a lot of explaining to do, but for what it's worth—god, Faye, you have no idea how glad I am to see you.
no subject
After just a moment, she lifts her head -- fingers still giving Zero some much deserved head scritches -- to turn a small smile of her own toward her brother.]
I'm glad to see you, too. More than I can really explain.
[With everything so suddenly, it's reassuring to have him around. She does stop distracting him for the moment so that he can get in line for the cheese rolls. In that time, her attention is mostly back to Zero, talking rather quietly to him. Sure it's often a one-sided chat with animals, but that suited her fine.]
Thank you for looking out for him, Zero.
[She has another question for Leon.. but that can wait until he returns to them. She isn't sure about doing any of her explaining in a public place. For the most part, she doesn't talk about her magic or... about Sam. Especially not about Sam. Certainly never in public.]
