[ As the air to a bird or the sea to a fish, so is contempt to the contemptible. ]
WHO: Vergil, Dante, and You.
WHERE: Libra app.
WHEN: Morning of May 10th.
WHAT: Wolfwood's gone and there's blood everywhere.
WARNINGS: tws for mild violence bc hoo boy.
[ why is it usually always the morning when Vergil addresses the network? It's like some sort of running Habit.
But this time it isn't some awkward text message or ask, some stuffily delivered lines with a reluctance to come out with what he's struggling with.
No.
It's a sort of painful to look at sight, as the video is a slow pan over the front of his antiques shop. The front window behind where the silver-haired bookish demon can usually be found has been smashed--outward, for the observant, which means whatever broke it came from inside.
On the sidewalk in front of said window, there's a splattering of blood. Bright crimson in some places, a brackish black in others.
a certain large Cross-Shaped gun is half-hanging out the window, seemingly left behind; dropped suddenly as its owner seems to have just... disappeared. ]
My CCTV cameras were all wrapped in strange paper. The video feed from them show nothing but a single dark, painted eye.
I hear voices on the feed, but most of them are muffled. I know for sure one is of my deliveryman. Nicholas D. Wolfwood.
There are bullets littering the inside of the shop. He broke open no less than three of the display cases.
I'm certain there's other things broken, but for now, that is not important.
[ there's a shout from behind the camera, one of a different demon--filled with a passionate, almost growling rage. What's important is one of those Order dickheads waltz onto our turf and took Nick!
Vergil sighs. ]
The ones behind this are getting sloppier. There's demonic blood everywhere. And I am most certain this is our 'fourth victim'.
I was there when we rescued Fugo. If the demon who did this is listening...
You will not walk away from this one with your life.
And it will not even be me who threatens it.

How long ago did this happen? I can see if I can track their energy signatures.

If you have such a power, I would ask you make haste.
-> Action
I'll be right there.
[And sure enough, Jun in his Shroud uniform, will be teleporting right in the middle of the antique shop]
no subject
However he just shoots a sort of uncomfortable glance at the man in the middle of his shop, his arms crossing. ]
...I assume you are 'Shroud'.

[Is all he says before he starts investigating the area. He starts by looking at the store itself, before walking towards the broken window and pausing as if he's looking over something. ]
... They accessed the metaverse here.
no subject
You mean that place that Fugo was taken to, a few days back.
[ oh his hackles are absolutely rising. ]
Then whoever attacked Nicholas was the same, then.
no subject
[He'll raise his finger up and start drawing a glyph of light in the air. He seems to be focused on that for a moment, before he gives up and there's a noise of frustration]
No good. I tried to force open the gate that was used, but it's already shifted elsewhere.
no subject
While I myself may not participate in this 'dungeon,' as I still feel weary from the one I returned from recently.
...I am certain Dante will want to know where the gate will be, soon.
no subject
My own senses are only reliable in the short range. But if you contact Azalea from POKEGO, he can help. He developed technology that tracks Spirit Realm gates, so I'm sure he'd be able to at least figure out where the gate will manifest.
[That said...]
... Labyrinths within the Metaverse take on a form based on the feelings and experiences of the victims trapped within.
Wolfwood's led a life harder than most. I'd suggest warning anyone thinking of rescuing him to prepare to witness hell itself.
[AS ANOTHER CULT-RAISED CHILD SOLDIER, HE KNOWS THEY'RE IN FOR SOME FUCKED UP SHIT]
no subject
Hell itself.
[ there's a... pain behind his eyes as he can't stop the stuttering slideshow of images from some life that isn't his flash through. Pulsating trees made of blood and a sky that's red and black and white with bone and rot--
Hell.
He shakes his head. ]
I will warn those who may well go to that place in my stead.
I think, perhaps, I will spend my energy trying to find this demon, instead. I feel a need to get back at him for destroying my shop and stealing my employee.
...Again.
This is my third employee they've stolen.
no subject
... The third?
[Damn that's... some bad luck. Jun pauses, thinking]
That's rather unfortunate. Were you the one who killed Teresa or do something else to anger the Order?
[He says, knowing full well who killed Teresa and also has done so much more to anger the Order ]

--Ha.
She would have been so lucky to die by my sword, as it would have been very obvious that I was the killer.
Sadly, I had no motivation to off her at the time, other than a vague annoyance at seeing her aggravate those around town. Up until this moment, given my fondness of a once-member of the Order, I have been trying to stay away from this situation.
They have now forced my hand.
no subject
Hm, then truly a streak of bad luck then. You may want to close until this is resolved.... or increase your staff's hazard pay.
[Is that a joke or not it's really hard to tell]
Their misstep is our fortune. I wish to help Wolfwood, so knowing a Sparda will be dealing with the culprits will be a comfort.
no subject
I am certain Dante will be going to aid with Nicholas as well. I will trust that to you, and he in the meantime.
So you can be rest assured that my blade will find the ones responsible for the kidnapping.
