[It's dark at first when the video starts, with panting noises and bumping sounds the only clue as to what might be going on. Then: light, as something is pushed off the camera, and a dog's face fills the screen. It sniffs the phone before it gives a few quick barks, and Leon's voice comes in then:]

You found it? Oh, good boy!

[And Leon can now be seen giving the dog scritches as he grabs for his phone. Then he gives him a little bone treat, and the dog happily runs off to chew on it.]

Is it recording? Huh, must've been on the app when it fell here. [He doesn't seem to mind, angling his phone to show his dog.] I got tackled by this guy on my way out a bit ago, and my phone fell out. Been trying to find it ever since between walking him and dog-proofing the place.

I didn't miss anything, did I?

[ Lapis, meanwhile, looks absolutely wretched. Her wounds have healed, but she's exhausted and aching still, and honestly she's so mentally drained that she wants to not exist for the rest of the month.

At least the dog is cute. ]

Yeah, sorry if I worried anyone by not answering. I've gotta take it off silent mode now, I guess.

[A beat, while he's taking in her appearance, and his general cheer fades into something very worried.]

...the hell happened, Lapis?

Yeah, might be a good idea. It's been a... week.

[ She sees his cheer fade, and she rubs a hand over her face with sigh. Maybe she should've stuck to voice... ]

Do I look that bad - Actually, don't answer that.

There was an... incident. Someones demon took over them, and it went very, very badly. But we managed to follow him into the Labyrinth and free him.

[Well, she did say not to answer that, so he tactfully keeps his trap shut.]

Oh, shit. How bad did it get? We don't have to seal or kill anybody, do we?

[ ... God, she really doesn't want to tell him. But maybe it's better to tell him than let him watch that video. ]

Two people died, two people not an the app. [ God, even saying that makes her heart twist. ]

But no, we don't. He's alive and free of the demon possessing him.

Jesus fucking Christ. I'm sorry. I'll call Jusis, see if there's anything I can do—he's probably having a hell of a time right now.

[Two people not on the app, Christ. But to the mention of the demon having been expelled:] Thank god for that, at least, but it looks like you guys had a hard time. If you want I can—well, I can't really think of anything I can do, except bring the dog around for cuddling.

Yeah, I imagine he could use all the help he can get right now.

[ She can only guess how much he's having to deal with right now, between the legal matters and the Black Order potentially getting involved once they catch wind of what happened.

And when he offers a dog for cuddling, Lapis manages a faint smile. Puppies do make everything better. ]

I wouldn't say no to that. But I'll be fine, Leon, it was just... a lot. And I might've pushed myself a bit.

Define "a bit," because it looks like we have very different definitions of the phrase.

[He's already putting his coat on and whistling for the good boy to come up to him so he can put a leash on.]

... Okay, it was more than "a bit". But I did better than I usually do, Elliot would've been upset otherwise.

I take 'em from movies, usually. Matilda's from this one old action movie, Léon: The Professional, but unfortunately I haven't really had the time to watch a lot of movies lately.
