The bat waves.] Hello everyone! I do hope that the new year is treating everyone fantastically, and that all had a happy holiday!

I could certainly have made this little announcement earlier, but I didn't wish to interrupt any likely celebrations you see! Regardless!

[With his wings spread wide, he seems to be gesturing to...the pokemon?

Said pokemon seems quite professional, simply keeping their hands folded behind their back whilst floating the phone.] I'd like to introduce everyone to Alfred! He's wonderfully helpful, Josuke helped me to find and befriend them in Kanto...but more importantly, he's going to be helping me through the city! 'Tis rather difficult to simply open doorways and carry necessities on my own you see, but now, I've Alfred to assist!

So please be sure to give him proper greetings should we encounter another out and about! I'd be ever more lost without his assistance, and he's already working so astoundingly hard..!

..Now then...I've been told now that he's quite happy to see reward in the form of gratitude itself, but I would like to ask as well, has anyone ideas for further thanks? I can even procure library books now! I simply can't leave this unrewarded!!

Ritsuka's still only had encounters with a few, herself, but he did mention Kanto, so it feels like a reasonable guess.

As for favorites...well, I've offered some fruits, which he does seem to enjoy? I imagine it must be rather difficult when one is sustained upon...well, Gratitude, evidently!

Oh hello Alfred. Nice to meet you, sirs. I also went to Kanto before and I have a Pokémon as well. Let me bring him in so Alfred can see you.

(Within a whistle’s blow, a Hoothoot flies in and lands on Jamie’s shoulder, happily hoots at the screen. Jamie doesn’t mind having this owl Pokémon hanging out on his shoulder a lot, it has been this way for months.)

This here is Stephen, I found him in Kanto while I was doing a side quest with a friend. Or rather he is the one who found me. Does he (Alfred) have any particular favorite foods or gifts? You could try to ask him.

Ah okay, that is fair. I know how that feels. I sometimes try to understand what Stephen wants with the language he is speaking, which is apparently saying his species name multiple times and in varying forms.

Yeah, it seems to be an intriguing quirk of theirs. There might be sounds that we may not catch onto whenever they speak to us.
