I. a bad day | open
WHO: Goro Akechi + YOU!
WHERE: Network or Cafe Millennia
WHEN: Oct 6th, morning/afternoon
WHAT: Akechi tries to figure out this new app, and also has a bad day
WARNINGS: none, just him being a jerk
i. text | un; oneforsorrow
I'm going to assume this isn't some kind of malware
And most of these posts don't look like bots
So why can't I delete this, let alone find any information on it?
I'm not really in a position to get a new phone right now
ii. getting coffee
[Coming to the cafe between classes to get some caffeine is basically a ritual for him at this point. Doesn't help he didn't get much sleep last night, damned bird. Doesn't help this damned app won't delete off of his phone...
He grabs his drink order and makes for his favorite seat, but he's distracted by his phone. Someone unfortunate might just run into him. Whether the hot coffee spills on him or you, well, that's up for fate to decide.]
Damnit--! [He looks up and jumps back a bit.] Watch where you're going.

just trust me when I say 'do not disturb' is probably going to be your new best friend

Still, noted. Don't want this blowing up my phone during class

How long have you had it?
no subject
Perhaps you should pay more attention?

My apologies. My phone has been acting up, haha…
[He laughs politely, allowing himself to look a little sheepish and pathetic.]

It's quite all right, accidents happen. Were you looking to have your drink inside here?
no subject
He moves to the counter to at least grab them some handfuls of napkins.]
Oh, yes, I usually spend some time here -- I was moving on autopilot, you know? Too bad, that's a nice outfit you have...
no subject
It is fine, I can have it dry cleaned. What was your order? It looks like a fair bit of your coffee spilled.
no subject
[But can he really turn down what he thinks is being offered? He's no famous celebrity rolling in money.]
Just a latte, nothing fancy.
no subject
I am not sure how long they take to make coffee here. [He squints at the other man.] You may want to start soaking up the stain on your clothes, or else it will set.

You can't delete it, it installs itself...
It doesn't work if you buy a new phone, it just appears on there too...
[That last one isn't really a malware thing but she tried it,]

Should I be able removing my personal data from this phone, or is it already too late?

Good to know
What's even the point of this

[.......................]
Honestly it's both more and less stressful than my usual sites...

I find that the more that you acknowledge the supernatural
The more stubborn it is about bothering you
So why would I want to chat about it?
I'm concerned as to what you "usual sites" are
no subject
Oh nothing bad...it just feels like everyone's always doom-posting or complaining about politics now. It's to the point where I feel like I should just make my usual insta-type posts here instead...at least then maybe people might appreciate whatever I took a picture of.

akechi's response does not help his case. sandalphon's eyes flash a bright red as he responded. ]
Why don't you watch? You almost made me drop my own coffee. [ a sack of unroasted coffee beans, but still. ]
no subject
Shit-- Sorry. I didn't realize it was you. [As if it'd be better if it was someone else, but.] ...I'll leave a nice tip as a sorry? And buy a new cup?
[He smiles, apologetically. It's a little forced, but he does honestly fear making an enemy here. His coffee supply is far too vital, so he can surrender some of his pride.]
no subject
Fine. How do you take your coffee? [ said as he sets the bag of coffee beans down on the counter, running some water to start brewing. ]
no subject
He gives Sandy his order and makes a point of getting out his wallet to fumble with some bills and shove them into the tip jar.]
Sorry again. I got some... malware, or something, on my phone. I've been trying to delete it, but it just keeps coming back. So I've been a little distracted.
no subject
If you mean the Libra app, then don't waste your time. Damn thing is never going to go away. [ he sets the freshly brewed cup on the counter. ] Trust me, I've tried.
no subject
Well, great. Please tell me it's not going to blare unstoppable alerts, or some bullshit.
no subject
[ he sighs. ] Even so, I try to at least ignore them as much as I can. I have a business to run, and even without it I rather not get involved.
