I just went to talk to Zodiac about the people missing. They gave some intel on where they were taken, but most important -- they made it very clear we shouldn't give our names to anyone that dwells in that realm if we go after them.

So...I have a plan! [his tone starts turning to cheery. Oh. Oh no] We should all come up with code names to call each other while they're there!

If you got one, great! Go ahead and sound it off in the comments so we all know what to call you! If you don't, then send me a photo of yourself and I will use my genius intellect to give you the perfect code name!

[this is likely a bad idea don't let him have that power]

[OH OH, HEY HE'S PREPARED FOR SOMETHING FOR ONCE!!!]

That, I can do! In just a flash I can become~

[He pulls the hood of his ruana up, covering most of his face, raising his voice to something much bolder than what he usually stutters out:]

Hernando! Who's scared of nothing. [Then back to his normal voice:] OH! Or or!!!

[He pulls the hood back down and dumps an old, battered bucket on his head. Now his voice is croaky and deep.]

[Zelos whistles, impressed]

Damn, you're ready for this! you even got character voices down!

...But, uh, what's with the bucket?

Gracias! [He actually sounds pretty pleased about that. Even with his voice echoing in the bucket.] I had years to get them exactly right.

[And pretending that's not a worrying statement at all, he takes the bucket off his head. ]

I found it in my room! It had a couple of new rats in it too! But the bucket's from home, it's for sure the same one. I remember where all the dents are.

[Zelos stares a little, giving a smile that definitely veers on "oh no this guy is crazy isn't he"]

Oh! So you usually wear that bucket on your head, even back home!

[Bruno is more than used to that smile. He gets that smile a lot. It's like water off a duck's back. ]

I mean- not all the time, but sometimes. When I'm acting.

[When he's...acting. Zelos has so many questions.

But you know what? Maybe he doesn't want them answered. That's for the best, yes. He clears his throat]

Well...okay! Hey, whatever gets you into character! I've heard weirder stories from method actors.

[Zelos slumps back against the couch and tilts his head in a "I GIVE UP" motion]

Bruno. I know I'm not one to talk, but please don't do anything overly reckless from some deep seated family issues ok?

[He'll lift his head a little]

[Bruno raises his shoulders in an idle shrug.]

If you've spoken to any Madrigal for...roughly ten minutes you'll know how impossible that ask is.

[They are so broken, Zelos. So very, very broken. He snorts a little.]
