[Mirabel still isn't dressed for the day. Luisa might hear a loud "UGH" from somewhere inside - almost as if Mirabel is having a day doing damage control on her birthday post.

But she gets up and answers the door. Smiling awkwardly.]

[ Luisa has to bite her lip to keep from laughing. Poor Mira.

When the door opens, she smiles and lightly ruffles her sister's hair. ]

[MMmm okay she perks up a little at the hair ruffle. It's hard to stay grumpy at that.]

In one hand she's holding a pink-wrapped box, tied with a green ribbon, but she doesn't give it to Mirabel just yet as she enters the room. ]

You planning on staying in bed all day?

[She doesn’t notice the box, putting down her phone finally.]

I wasn’t… I’ve been doing damage control all morning. But I’d really like to go shopping today.

Shopping sounds like a good idea. [ With a smile, she finally presents the box to Mirabel. ] After you get dressed, maybe you can wear one of these, if you want.

[ Once Mirabel opens the box, she'd find that "one of these" referred to a set of butterfly hair clips. ]

[She doesn't wait to get dressed first, she finds her mirror and clips them on.]
