WHAT: Ritsuka found herself whisked away to another world? Must be Tuesday...

There's a new face in town! Or at least, there's a redheaded young woman who, while not appearing particularly bewildered or confused, most definitely is spending some time looking over the surrounding buildings and cityscape. As one does when trying to figure out where one is or how to get where one needs to go. In any case, it's definitely true no one here's seen her in town before!

Should you approach, though, she'll promptly swap from that evaluating stare to a friendly grin.

"Oh, hi there! Are you from around here?"

If you're especially observant, though, you might notice a set of red marks on the back of her right hand. But that's probably not important, right? Right.

[ You'd think she'd carry one with her, being a fancy court lady and everything but nope... she's just going ahead and obliterating her poor sleeves with her running mascara... ]

Mm...! Yeah! Actually–

[ She shoots a glance around. They're making a whole scene on the street, huh... not that Sei usually minds being the center of attention but Ritsuka could probably do with a break. ]

You wanna come with me and hang out at the place I'm working right now? You can have something to eat and drink. My treat!

"Sure, that sounds good!"

Not that Ritsuka would have any money to pay for herself yet anyway. Funny thing with humanity being gone, you lose any reason to bother keeping a wallet on you.

"I heard a few things already, but I bet you can tell me even more."

Alright...! C'mon, it's this way...

[ She casually and comfortably hooks her arm through Ritsuka's and starts half-leading, half-dragging her along. Some things just truly never change. ]

How much're you caught up on? I'm figuring you got the basics so far, since you're not freaking out half as much as the noobs usually do.

Some things never change indeed. But the familiarity is actually kind of reassuring. Ritsuka might be used to finding herself in strange places unexpectedly, but some of the stuff she's already learned so far has thrown her off a bit.

"Well, I guess this place isn't a singularity or anything like that? But there's still plenty of weird stuff happening, thanks to someone messing with the spirit realm. And there's a pretty shady-sounding organization that's been helping people from other worlds who win up here, but also installing an app on the phones of people from here too without them knowing."

Look, you deal with enough of the crap Ritsuka's been through, you learn how to ask questions and make note of the important bits.

Yup, that's pretty much it. ... It's, uh, pretty much all I know, too. I've been kinda distracted with all the small scale stuff, so I totally missed the big picture! Bahahaha!

[ THAT'S OUR NAGIKO... ]

There's two of us from Chaldea so far and one guy who isn't actually from Chaldea but... uh, well, it's complicated.

"Oh yeah, I heard Cu Chulainn's here. And I talked to Takame, he seemed pretty nice!"

Which is why she has no intention of trying to butt into that arrangement. If Cu's found a good Master that he's happy with then no need for her to get involved with that.

And then there's apparently Gil but uh. Yeah complicated is one way to put it. Especially since just seeing Ritsuka triggered some memories for him. Oops?

Right? Right? Kamekame's the best! [ of course she already went and nicknamed him. what do you take her for. ] He's kind of... not shy, exactly, but he clams up a little when you talk to him sometimes? But he's a good guy!

[ 'He's a good guy' is probably going to be her read on like, everyone here given that this is Sei.......... ]

Oh and uh... that El-Melloi guy from Chaldea is here but he's not... our El-Melloi guy.

"Right, I talked to him too..."

And probably gave him a migraine.

"He said I could come to him if I needed anything, even though he doesn't know me."

So still a nice, dependable guy, even if he's from a whole other timeline.

[ That gets a laugh out of her, a little less exuberant than her usual guffaws but no less warm for it. ]

Yup, that's Prof for you. He'll make a huge stink about it but when the chips are down, he kinda just wants to help people out. I bet you two're gonna get along like a house on fire.

[ SOMETHING'S gonna be on fire. maybe waver's patience. either way. ]

If you're both Masters, you'll probs have a ton to talk about!

"Probably, but it sounds like first I should figure out things like a place to stay and a job and all that. Since I won't exactly be getting supplies from Chaldea."

Though who's she kidding, she'd absolutely love to talk at length with another Master. She's really only managing to hold herself back for now because it's clear the topic may be a little touchy, and she can understand that. But someday...!
