[ dante adjust silently giving wolfwood the space to heft himself up onto the windowsill before settling in front of him, hands resting on the other's hips as dante wedges himself between wolfwood's legs. he barely flinches at the look he is given, nor the way in which wolfwood slips the proverbial knife between his ribs and exposes his faults for them both to see. because he is right about that, painfully right about how willing dante truly is to let himself be ripped apart for the sake of saving those closest to him. he is just that kind of guy, the sort not to let go even as his hands burn and he bleeds out.

[ dante's hands move from wolfwood's hips to the sides of his face, pulling him in to rest their foreheads together again. ] But I get it. I understand what your saying and why you're saying it, but you need to get one thing through your head for me. I'm not going anywhere, no matter what you say or do, I'm not going to toss you to the wayside no matter what.

[ dante kisses him then, almost as though to prove his point, sharp canines lightly dragging across his bottom lip chasing the taste of nicotine. ]
