So, um. Anyone know anything about these weird sphere things? I got one from the weird plant that spit out presents and when I started messing with it, this armor and sword showed up.

[She reaches over to pull the sword into camera view.]

Carmen's just laughing at me and not helping me with anything... She says she doesn't know.

Anyone have any ideas?

It's a good look, but this is a weird thing to have happen. One minute, normal clothes, then armor and a sword.

I have never seen such an item before. Perhaps it is some sort of enchanted item that can be used as a sort magical armour.
I have seen stranger things in this city.

For better or for worse, it seems it may be use to you if you get into danger.

I would reconsider the weapon, however, unless you can properly lift it.

I can show you if I can get it off... It fused with the armor and disappeared when the armor and sword appeared.

[She pauses for a moment to grip the sword correctly and lift it.]

And it apparently gives me the ability to use this giant sword too. I'll have to practice in the future with it.

[ he's having some vague memory about knowing this girl's voice, but he can't quite place where... ]

Well then. If you have the strength to lift it, then I suppose all that is left to do is learn how to use it.

[She lifts the sword with relative ease, although he can probably tell she's not used to using a sword like it.]

Yeah, I don't think I'd be the best fighter against most things here.

I suppose there's no harm in learning, however. I have been told that things can get dangerous here.

Last thing I would like to see is someone injured when they could very well learn a way to defend themselves.

Yeah, I wound up with one a little while back. Not quite as heavily armored as yours, but it sounds like the same kind of object.

I'm afraid I don't know much more than you seem to, I found mine on me after I went to that peculiar store a while ago.

It appears to be some form of magic, though I don't quite grasp the precise workings. Primarily I found I had an unusual proficiency with the weapons it granted, do you feel as though you'll be able to use that sword at all?

Just a set of twin pistols, nothing quite as unwieldy as a giant sword.

That sounds more useful than this giant slab of metal. Guess I'm going to have to practice with it at some point.

At least yours comes with proper armor. If you can learn proficiency with that sword, you might have something worthwhile.
