heian night... fever!!!
WHO: EVERYBODY!
WHERE: The Vogue Theatre
WHEN: March 20th, from around 5pm onwards
WHAT: Sei promised everybody a party and that's what you're gonna get!!
WARNINGS: Booze is available at the venue so there will probably be some drinking but this is strictly a Good Vibes log so probably nothing else!
[ While throwing a party of this scale would probably not be anybody's first priority when arriving fresh in a new world like this, Sei's every bit as good as her word and come the day of the party, an open invite directing everyone to the Vogue Theatre drops onto the network. It's every bit as high energy and glittery as her little self introduction – perhaps even more so – and I'll spare everyone from having to read it.
For those that do turn up at the party, they'll find it's absolutely bumping, just as she promised. The lights are low and hazy with bright neon struck through in certain places and the music is so loud you can hear it humming in your throat. There's drinks! There's food! Don't wonder too hard how in the hell Sei managed to afford to get ANY of this going and just enjoy yourself.
For folks who maybe aren't as into the all-out party or who otherwise need a breather from it, a quiet room's been set up in one of the lounges – the heartbeat rhythm of the music pumping through the speakers is still audible but the vibe is much quieter and much more chill. If you want to spend the evening in here just relaxing and chatting, you're free to.
The party runs late - if you stay the whole time, you might catch a peek of sunlight as you're making your way back home. But maybe with any luck there'll be a bit of a pep in your step now you've gotten some of Sei's party energy in your system. ]

[ THAT'S WHAT SHE'S OBJECTING TO HERE??? ]

[ siiiiiiip. ]
But even then, I wouldn't make you come if you were really just gonna sit here and hate every minute of it. Where's the fun in that?

[ She sounds... surprisingly sincere, all things considered. ]
no subject
[Which was, surprisingly, not an outright dismissal of any hypothetical invites. But, so long as we were being uncomfortably sincere:]
...Would you rather 'Sei' or 'Nagiko'? I don't actually want to keep calling you Archer if we can avoid it, the last one I knew was...difficult.
no subject
Eheheh, is that so? If you're asking, then go ahead and call me Nagiko! It's not like I'm ashamed of it or that I don't like it or anything like that, but... I think the person I am now is pretty much done being Sei Shounagon.
no subject
...I suppose I can understand that well enough. Nagiko, then.

[ She lifts up her glass in a mock toast then goes back to sipping away. ]
And... since you've not gotten mad about it yet, I'm guessing it's fine to call you Prof?
no subject
That's fine. It's hardly the worst nickname, and most people call me Professor as it is.
no subject
[ She continues to beam sunshine at him, as if that doesn't just make this whole tortured moment of sincerity worse. ]
Are you for real a professor, then? Like, at a school or something?

[ It takes her a second! Sure she downloaded the lore updates from the throne but it's not like chemistry ever comes up at Chaldea. ]
That's like... alchemy, right?

[ breezing on as if she didn't just talk like a person with a brain; ]
Teaching's always way harder than learning, though. Is it tough?
