heian night... fever!!!
WHO: EVERYBODY!
WHERE: The Vogue Theatre
WHEN: March 20th, from around 5pm onwards
WHAT: Sei promised everybody a party and that's what you're gonna get!!
WARNINGS: Booze is available at the venue so there will probably be some drinking but this is strictly a Good Vibes log so probably nothing else!
[ While throwing a party of this scale would probably not be anybody's first priority when arriving fresh in a new world like this, Sei's every bit as good as her word and come the day of the party, an open invite directing everyone to the Vogue Theatre drops onto the network. It's every bit as high energy and glittery as her little self introduction – perhaps even more so – and I'll spare everyone from having to read it.
For those that do turn up at the party, they'll find it's absolutely bumping, just as she promised. The lights are low and hazy with bright neon struck through in certain places and the music is so loud you can hear it humming in your throat. There's drinks! There's food! Don't wonder too hard how in the hell Sei managed to afford to get ANY of this going and just enjoy yourself.
For folks who maybe aren't as into the all-out party or who otherwise need a breather from it, a quiet room's been set up in one of the lounges – the heartbeat rhythm of the music pumping through the speakers is still audible but the vibe is much quieter and much more chill. If you want to spend the evening in here just relaxing and chatting, you're free to.
The party runs late - if you stay the whole time, you might catch a peek of sunlight as you're making your way back home. But maybe with any luck there'll be a bit of a pep in your step now you've gotten some of Sei's party energy in your system. ]

It was when his intent was realized that Takame sort of shrunk in on himself, gaze dropping with and rubbing his hands together bashfully.]
I apologize. Please do not misunderstand, it is nothing you've done. Its just happened once before.

but, when Takame shrinks into himself in that bashful way, revealing that yes, finally after a few misfires, Vash had hit the nail on the head, the terribly sunny mans face falls into a frown.
But not for the reason Takame might be expecting when he speaks again. ]
Are you serious, for real. Someone tried to poison you?? You didn't even do anything. [ this guy just met you and already he believes youve done nothing wrong in your life ever. ]
Poisoning someone's drink is lower than low. I'm not offended by it, I'm offended someone's tried to do it to you before. I'm sorry if I startled you by offering you one, then.
Next time I'll be more creative and bring you just some snacks instead.
....
Tell me noones tried to poison your food before, too.

Vash's offense on his behalf had Takame come out of his introverted state. There's a light "Hm?" showing a little surprise that Vash's earnesty was genuine, though a moment was spent analyzing his expression for deceit of which he found none. The natural sway even returned to his tail as he shook his head softly.]
You've no need to apologize. You were only thinking of my best interests and did not know my circumstances. You are very kind.
[A pause. Then a little sip of his drink. Another, longer pause waiting for negative effects that never came. Then a more assured sip. He was more dehydrated than he thought.]
No one has tried to poison my food. ["Yet" lingered on his tongue. He stopped himself.]

Hey, I just like looking out for others, you know? Well. No, I guess you wouldn't, but hey. That's what getting to know someone is all about and all that.
I'm not offended at all. I think if someone tried to poison my drink, I'd be pretty wary about taking them from a stranger, too. [ this is a complete lie, but takame doesn't need to know that. ]
And good. I'm glad to hear that.
Hopefully that's a trend that stays.
This city's pretty nice, right? I ain't met anyone who I'd distrust so far, I don't think.

Mm. It is best to look out for one another. Regardless of the world, everyone would benefit from having someone to watch their back. [Not that Takame thought anyone would. He wanted to, the other app users were proof that people cared for their own.
Even the cause of his not great mood proved that. But said mood made his view worse.]
Indeed. When I first arrived I was met with trustworthy people who have only proven themselves moreso as time has gone on.
