It'll be alright. You more than likely just have to learn to live with it--once you have better control over when and how it activates, you'll probably be able to use or not use it as you want.

That's difficult to answer. I've heard instances of other people developing abilities they otherwise didn't or wouldn't have normally--were I to venture a guess, I would estimate it's something derived from general exposure to the supernatural activities of the area. While I can't say for certain if that's responsible, it's the safest assumption I can think of.

That, I have even less of an answer for. Magic here functions differently to what I'm accustomed to. Can you tell me anything else about what's happening when you activate it? Were you having trouble sleeping, for example?

It started in the tree. The more upset I got, the colder things would get. I hadn't noticed at the time if I left frost or ice anywhere though.

It's almost constant though.
