[From the beginning, Ghaleon makes trouble for the demons attempting to take him, first clocking the stranger as suspicious, then putting up enough of a fight that when he wakes in what appears to be the roots of a giant tree, he at least feels the satistaction of knowing there's a demon out there nursing teeth marks.
And overhearing the demons planning on using him and the others as sacrifices? Well, that gets a dark laugh.]
So, they want to sacrifice us, hm? The fools. They've bitten off more than they can chew, and I intend to make them choke.
II - I am the Shadow, the True Self
[Even from the moment it first appears, it's obvious which is the doppleganger and which is the true Ghaleon. Oh, the outfit is certainly one thing, considering the bodysuit, white cloak, and massive pauldrons are a far cry from the simple dress he's spent the last several days in. But the true giveaway is that sections of purple across his skin are absent, and in their place is a smile devoid of warmth or kindness.
While the double doesn't initiate any violence, they do spend time mocking the efforts of anyone they spot, all the while peppering in comments about how, perhaps, just perhaps, they might do better if they left at least a few sacrifices as a distraction. And wouldn't Ghaleon be perfect for that? Oh, if only they knew the things that one had done, surely he would not be missed. And of course it says that. It's a veneer of nastiness over a mass of abandonment issues and despair.
In defiance of the doppleganger, Ghaleon mostly leaves it be, opting instead to try and find a way out, and watching for any foolish do-gooder that tries to argue with the damn thing.]
((ooc: Fair warning on this one, it's probably gonna be heavy and/or violent. I'll put warnings in for specifics as they crop up.))
III - Aftermath
[In the quiet after everything, Ghaleon takes to spending time up at Moghome. It's not exactly where they truly want to be, but the floating island is close enough for the sake of gaining clarity.
If one feels up to braving the moogles, one would be most likely to find them sitting near (but not dangerously close to) the edge of the island, staring out across the city and towards the distant horizon.]
Made your way all the way up here to see me, hm? And to what do I owe the pleasure?
