"Oh yeah, I've definitely noticed a difference in the flora here compared to home. Some key ingredients are missing for some of my chemical compounds and I haven't quite got the hang of growing them myself yet."

Because the whole magic powers thing is pretty hard to get his head around- he's not convinced he'll ever really ace it. But then, he doesn't plan to stick around long enough to have to do it. Shame he's unaware how badly that will go wrong for him.

"I shouldn't think it'd be that long now- a couple of months at most, really. The trickiest part was finding the means to power it. Now I have that, it's just a case of marrying the two together."
