Claude just gives an uneasy hum of acknowledgment and pulls the arrow from his quiver, nocking it but not drawing it back just yet. The light in the tunnel grows closer and closer, until suddenly a great wall of sound and gleaming metal comes rushing out of the darkness.
To his credit, Claude does not shoot the express train to Stardew Valley as it grinds to a halt in front of them. He does back up a few feet from the platform, though, looking deeply alarmed until something clicks into place and he can piece together what's going on from context.
"Oh," he says, putting the arrow away again. "I get it. It's like those metal carriages I saw on the road outside, just bigger. And way louder. Okay, sure, that makes sense."
