schoolingfish: (Friendly human)

[Luca grabs his fork. He knows how to use those now, since he figured it out during the competition, but it still feels weird to use one instead of just grabbing his food. He kind of gets it, though. In the ocean if you eat with your hands, any debris from the food will be washed away in the current or nibbled away by fish. On land, it kind of just stays on your hands until you lick it or rinse it off. He does wonder how humans eat any food that doesn't twirl with a fork, though.

Sticking the fork in, he spins it like Giulia showed him, before taking a bite. And it was delicious! Incredibly salty, but since Luca's used to eating food that's literally permeated with water from the Ligurian sea, that's not a bad thing.]

Mmm!

[He tries to devour his food enthusiastically...but it's so much harder to eat fast when using a fork, and there's definitely a few times he has to remind himself to twirl then try to lift the spaghetti to his mouth.]

This is really good!
