Back in the Boiling Isles he could always retreat to his bedroom - it was the one space he had in the castle that was his own, and if people needed him they at least knocked. Here his bedroom is also the living room which is also the kitchen.
Studios suck and he misses his bedroom so much.
Flapjack offers some sympathetic snuggling and the two of them stay in there for a little while, Hunter curled up on the floor with his back to the door. Elliot doesn't know what he's talking about. He acts like he does, but he's knew to curses like this and he just doesn't get it right now. He probably will eventually, but not right now.
He knows that eventually he needs to leave, he can't stay in there forever. He has no idea what Elliot is up to but he sucks it up and at some point in the morning will finally open the door and peek out.
